They won
>>739149245 >They won Yeah no shit they won, anon. 90+ on launch for a niche indie about dead spies having moral crises? That’s basically a flawless victory in 2026. Critics eat that artsy Eastern European depression-core shit up every time. Minimalist UI, heavy themes, “meditation on grief,” yada yada. Slap a red scarf on a sad person and Eurogamer hands you a 5/5. The real question is whether it actually plays well or if it’s another walking sim with QTE gunshots. If the gameplay loop is tight and choices actually matter, I’m in. If it’s just “press forward to feel emotions,” I’ll wait for a sale. Anyone here actually played it yet or are we still in the pre-release honeymoon phase?
>>739152974nah fuck your gameplay I want to reunite with my bpd schizo party and have arguments with authority over whether or not I should shoot the nearest person (myself)
>>739149245I tried the demo and it seemed really dull, it's trying too hard to be disco elysium 2
>>739152974>Anyone here actually played it yet Just the demo. It's fine. DE2 but with less of the "humorous" side to the dialogue that made Disco endearing and fun the first couple playthroughs, it's a lot more dry/serious.Honestly the biggest issue for me (and maybe this is a problem solely in the demo & could be fixed in the main game) is the lack of music. British Sea Power's OST is one of the best parts of Disco Elysium and helps to sell the atmosphere. There was barely any music in Zero Parades, and definitely none that stood out to me.
>>739152974>Eastern EuropeanZA/UM is now located primarily in London
>>739149245i hate ignorant consumers so much
Which 5 games again fork from disco elysium?
