There's nothing I hate more in a franchise than when a character model is reinterpreted. Some characteristics stay the same, but overall they are an entirely different character to me. It's like swapping an actor in the next movie. I say you take the exact look of the first one, and only improve in detail. You don't fundamentally change their facial features.

I prefer Splinter Cell 1's Sam Fisher model. He looks like a former military guy nearing 50. Handsome and fit, but still looks like a dad. He's not a super hero or have Arnold Schwarzeneggers jaw. Then he gets changed a dozen different times and almost all look like ass. The one with the grey beard looks like white pubes glued to his face. Some he looks weak and pussified, other's he looks grotesque.

If you notice many of their excavation efforts are in remote parts of the world to not draw too much suspicion to their actions. They are pulling up parts of a precursor robot with a balloon in Boggy Swamp, then excavating one in the Spider Caves which you can also stop and happens to be very close to their base of operations anyways. The other sages only get kidnapped as you progress along with the story so presumably if they tried to make their efforts more open the other villages and sages would be alert to their actions and respond accordingly. We never see Gol or Maia fight outside the robot despite having what people assume to be powers related to Dark Eco. Maybe they just can't fight.

They made Crash Bandicoot, a series that took two games to start getting good before they abandoned it.

Jak was the opposite, they poured all their knowledge and skill learned from Crash into it, then immediately scrapped everything in the next game in favor of a shit smoothie of mechanics that only began to figure itself out with Jak 3 before they abandoned the series.

No he wasn't. Sony specifically stated to never use the PS1 chips for software implementation because they will be replaced in the future. And what do retards like Gavin do? Use them either way. Besides there a ton of games that disregarded the basic manual for the system like Star Ocean 3 which exists in two version one that works only on the original models and one that is fully compatible with the entire system range. Same with Daxter. The original print doesn't work on later models.

I recently beat Daxter, Ready at Dawn understood Jak better than fucking Naughty Dog did and should have taken over the series.

Factually wrong, it has tight controls and challenges that don't feel out of place, unlike many other games and the second two Jak games, where you have out of place minigames that suck ass.

I think its to the right of where the stage pad and teleporter is. But it almost looks like its apart of the citadel itself and it doesn't even look like it could a person inside it, much less furniture and the other amenities the other sages have.

Yes, you're right, but that was clearly just a cop-out by the developers. It wouldn't even make logical sense for a sage, let alone anyone else, to live there. I don't think I even noticed it when I was a kid. I just remember wondering why there wasn't another hub area for the Yellow Sage (like the previous three) before we got to Gol and Maia.
