The only 2 other real options are GoG and piracy. Steam doesn't prevent either of those from existing in any way, therefore all the anti-Valve shilling is EGS and other jews trying to destroy a competitor they hate. Steams offer convenience, the workshop, updates for your games without having to redownload everything every time or worry about a virus, achievements, hours played tracking, social features, a unified library... all for very low prices.

Retard, you can't "win people over". Steam is not a streaming service where you can just switch companies. People have invested money in Steam. Their games are there. People can't just "give up" on their games. People are chained to Steam and the owner knows this.

Being chained to Steam is one thing. But WILLFULLY buying an overpriced piece of plastic is the real question people want answered. Why did people wake up one morning and said "I got f*cked in the ass by Valve for years, maybe I shoul-Oh look! An overly expensive controller made by Valve and manufactured in China... let me buy one, let me buy one!!"

People who care about gaming want good, efficient, fairly-priced products. People who care about gaming also want an answer to why people "who allegedly care about gaming" give money for the Steam Controller 2.
