We should do a /v/ Cas:U hunger games type of deal one of these days before the threads die. Consider a layer size changer mod. For example you could compress the size of a layer by say 50% allowing for more frequent layer changes (and thus possibility to save and quit) but with still the same amount of loot and traps.

And that's layer 3 complete. I'm saving and quitting here for today. Experiment #16521 is very well-fed and completely healthy. He's fat, overweight, and happy at over 60 kilos of soft plush furry squishiness. I have about a liter of produce juice stored and a full battery to plug into my grav bag. His stats are at least 14 STR and RES and 13 INT I think. I'm confident I can beat layer 4. The jetpack is fucking awesome and I think I still have 75% condition left on it. It seems to last for a very long time if you use it sparingly, it's definitely one of my favorite most useful items now. It even has some storage space. S+ item.

Layer 3 is a sudden difficulty spike if you spawn on or encounter a pack of wall biters and the amount of landmines and coils in bushes becomes quite evil. I think stalactite spawn rates are effected too. Layer 4 becomes fucked with radiation and sound cannons. The amount of sound cannons inspires new strategies like jumping around corners, edges, and new areas just to try and bait any possible sound cannons off-screen.I've never made it to layer 5 with max traps yet. The amount of thornbacks must be apocalyptic and the ceiling covered in skullsmashers.Max traps means plenty of scrap metal at least.
