It's a very solid port. Recommend window mode. Netplay is great for your region and decent enough for coast to coast as long as you select a netplay stage. The combo system is very open, there's a lot of gatling like Blazblue, it also has a sizable buffer window that makes the game doable for even beginners so even if you don't have the best execution you can have fun in Chaos Code although there are a lot of advanced combos for every character. There are a lot of mechanics but it's all general offense and defense. there's nothing like The Grid in UNI or FRC in GG. No RPS mechanics like modern games. It's a rushdown heavy game with some sudo-zoners and trap characters.

I think it's more that DPs keep getting worse. Safejumps being easy is good when DPs are really strong, to keep knockdowns advantageous and not always having to RPS on your own offense every time. But when only metered DPs are reversals in the first place, and they do low damage, and have guaranteed bonus extra counterhit recovery so you take 50+% when baited, then safejumps start to feel unnecessary.

first off duh, these are widely different genres, and sure they got their own weird shit to learn, but the main thing is these are really really easy to grasp, mobas are clicking and pressing abilities, fps are literally so common place and easy to grasp anyone can pick them up, rocket league is football mixed with racing, two very universally understood things and the controls are very easy because again racing games are super common and aren't more than steer, gas, boost break.
meanwhile fighting games genuinely do not really have any modern games that shares their control scheme, they are very alien to many people, again why I think smash does so well outside of the ips, its a 2d platformer and has like 3 buttons to care about in addition to moving.
Do I think people could get into fighting games if they gave them an honest chance? yes, but reality is people aren't gonna do it, to them FGs are weird and controls badly because their character doesnt instantly do the action the button say and give up.

Tokon Deez Nuts biggest problem is no regional pricing, so they won't have legions of third worlders willing to prop up the steamcharts. Aside from the the requirement for a PS account might deter some other people, but I think it'll do fine. At least as well as InvincibleVS, which is doing way better than I expected.

They may have liked some of the designs but people didn't just complain about Leroy being broken. Everybody also hated that he was boring to play. Largely just generic good Tekken moves practically ripped from other characters and then buffed with the only real unique things being his free rage drive a match and a completely bullshit CH launcher. Some of it is lasting stigma but even in T8, where nobody seemed to think he was busted, he's still an unpopular character. Fahkumram was busted and people even made fun of his design but he also probably has more genuine fans of how he plays.

only the flying kick is unsafe for them, even with the card buff, just block them in the air and hit them with whatever once you're grounded
the slide is only safe on block and it will be your turn to play,keep blocking if its the buffed version
the overhead flip kick is a bitch so just keep blocking after it regardless if its blocked or not, i think you can mash your fastest button if you blocked the unbuffed version but that always backfires on me
