Great game. I was around that age in the 90s and playing through this was a total trip down memory lane, what an experience.
Not sure why people are hating on it, the games really faithful to the time period and tells a great story about three friends.

My quick review is:

Take Elden Ring, for example. That game is amazing too! But it seems to lack any tangible story and the characters feel shallow.
But that's okay! There are other games, like Mixtape, which have both an engrossing story and amazing characters!

Oh well, I was around in the 90s, and still consider a lot of those bands to be small up and comers who still had a DIY mindset. I guess Zoomers who grew up in the copyright spotify era wouldn't understand that indies stick together.

Overall, I give Mixtape a 9.5/10.
