Are the AI sending it up your ass on long straights/curves? You need top speed. Are you getting passed by out of every corner? You need more handling or possibly acceleration (the 2 typically go hand in hand, don't sleep on rear tire width if you're using a RWD car.) If you don't really want to get into tuning, the one thing you should learn to tune is a differential. You can brute force tune a lot of shit out with just the differential alone. On rear differentials, bring down the "accel" setting until your vehicle still turns in, but it doesn't spin out the second you touch the gas into or out of a corner. With low power cars, you can probably leave it wide open or close to it (90%-100%) for high power vehicles (A class or higher) you'll need to bring it down, sometimes even as low as 10%-20% for the really wild stuff. I've been tuning cars in Forza games since before I could drive over half my lifetime ago. It's really easy to learn if you simply read the text and only change one thing at a time to see how it reacts. As you get comfortable, tuning becomes 2nd nature. I can drive a car and immediately get a good ballpark on everything that needs to be tweaked. Manually changing your gearing can also help you get a lot faster at next to no upgrade cost. It's not rocket science either. Tweak the final gear til 1 point drops it by more than 1mph & then adjust the rest in relation to that. Watch your 0-60 & 0-100 times for launch gears. The rest you can just ramp up to the final gear.The tuning system is what makes Horizon so great, imo. Endless customization in what you want a car to do. Street, high class, drift, drag, and rally all have their own niches and general setups for tuning.

>>739234585Depends what you like, if you like GT3 Motorsport, I-racing has brackets for that, and the cars feel really good, Competizione also feels really good and has amazing multiplayer and sound design, I-racing is kinda expensive, so I would usually recommend Competizione over it for new people. Asseto Corsa is awesome if you like the idea of having a complete moddable experience with open world mods like Japan, though I never got into it since I'm kinda done with the whole Open World idea. If you want to go the Simcade routes, where the cars don't really feel as real, but have more weight, and is a more serious racing game since they focus on the motorsport factor of it, Gran Turismo has a really good multiplayer experience if you race clean enough and get into the high Sportmanship ratings.
