Are Uncharted 1-3 fun or are they just moviegames? I never played any of the ps3 exclusives and am just now bothering to give a few of them a whirl

They are movie games but I had fun with Uncharted 2.
1 is pretty shit and dated and 3 is not as polished as 2.
>>
2 is the only good one
>>
One is the slowest and 2 is the most action packed and has more happening more frequently. 3 is slow for about the first half maybe a bit longer but it picks up later.

But can i just play 2 without 1 or is there like an established dynamic between characters that wouldnt make sense without going in order

2 and 3 are both great. 1 is a little bit jank
>>
They amst not videogames

Uncharted 2 is peak.

Yes!
>>
>>739206128
So its not like a compounding story like God of War(pre cuckening)?
>>
>>739205630
Yeah you can play 2 without playing the others and pick up the story just fine, that's what I did. I'd recommend starting there. If you like it you can try out the other ones as well.
>>

No. There's two supporting characters returning from UC1 in UC2, Elena and Sully, but you'll probably 'get' them immediately even without full experience of UC1.

Alright if i see 1 for less than $10 i might grab it but otherwise fuck it then
>>
Uncharted 1 is the closest to being a real video game so no wonder Uncharted fans don't like it. 2 and 3 are long interactive cutscenes.
>>
Yeah they're alright. Would have take a Sulley game too.

I played through the remasters on PS4 and found them to be quite fun. Don't expect anything revolutionary gameplay wise and they can be a little cutscene heavy at points but if you can pick them up cheap they're fine.

Fun games but you had to be there at launch to experience UC2 multiplayer and the wow factor when it showed off its physics and weather etc etc. Game was gorgeous; probably still looks good but I havent played it in almost 20 years

UC2 multiplayer was peak. I hated when they added the supernatural abilities in uncharted 3/4
>>
>>739205349
Uncharted 2 is a genuinely good TPS. Uncharted 3 has a heavier story focus, which really drags it down.
>>
>>739205349
The first two games are literally shovelware.
>>
>>739205349
Uncharted 1 has the most infuriating segment of them all and nothing tops the jetski portion, not even the spinning walls of spikes in gow 1
>>
>>739205349
2 is fun. The shooting is consistently good and there's some entertaining and well-placed diversions. 1 feels like the most generic PS3 TPS possible, and 3 seems to be an attempt at making 2 again but they did everything wrong.

Yeah the only way to do it is to "cheese" it by slowly inching forward until an enemy is just barely on screen and shoot them that way. Now that I'm thinking, there were a few rooms as well that were quite bullshit on Crushing.
