Acre, Jerusalem, or Damascus?
>>

Damascus >= Jerusalem > Acre
>>
>>739206289
Ah these complex Middle Eastern medieval cities, can't wait to do identical flag collecting, pick pocketing and tailing missions in each of them.

Why don't they remake this game instead of Black Fag?
>>
>>739206549
I was 14, it was meh.
>>
>>739206770
Mass appeal. Black Flag story is easy to pick and get into.
>>
>>739206770
it would just end up as 'rpg' junk instead of them addressing the shortcomings and maintaining the spirit of the game. they would also waste far too much time and resources on graphics.

the first 3d game with decent fidelity to be set in the holyland, that was pure kino

>interconnected kingdom map with seamless connections between the cities
>completely free roam, none of that memory shit
>cities expanded in size with more content
>bloodlines remaster as bundled post-game story, taking altair to cyprus
Never ever
>>

yeah, it was a nice tech demo but the cities themselves felt deader than gta3, which I also was not a fan of.
gameplay is also shallow, and I could sense something was off even as a teen that slopped up all the marketed AAA games of that era.

The cities were supposed to feel unnerving. Lived in, but not interactable. The game is supposed to feel like a strange dream, because that's exactly what it was. You were reliving the memories of a distant ancestor, and if you strayed off-course, you would desynchronise. I wish they brought that vibe back.

they didn't feel lived in to me, just felt like a detailed template.
the only "unnerving" feeling this series achieved for me was in AC2 when you had to do parkour in an empty cathedral or something. that did feel dreamlike, akin to something that feels like a next gen 2003 PoP.

This game was blatant anti-White, anti-Christian, Crusade-guilt tripping propaganda.
>>
>>739208054
It wasn't
>>
>>739208054
How is it anti-white when the main character is white?
>>
>>739206770
>skip 1
>remake ezio trilogy
>skip 3
>remake black flag
What next, remaking syndicate?

The fuck kind of larp is this. The fact that you could physically push people around already made it feel way more like a real world than gta3.
>>
>>739208054
lol
its anti every religion
the assassin order are atheists and the templars don't give a shit about christianity and want to launch a mind control satellite
