I just beat Vicar Amelia first try. I fucked her RIGHT in the pussy. I went hunter mode on her. I bent her over and SLASHED her with my cleaver. That stupid bitch was DEAD the moment she attacked me. FUCK, I'm so good at vidya.
>>739217368Based hoonter
>>739217368So now what are you gonna do? You might have options depending on what you've already done.
>>739217521I already beat cleric beast, so I'm just gonna level up and see what happens next. This is my first playthrough, is lvl. 34 fine for where I'm at?
>>739217368I did it too. I thought she was a joke boss but no she was a serious one and I just stunned her way too much by R2ing a Ludwig Holy Blade
>>739217674Sure. Good luck. If you find a place called Old Yharnam you should clear that. It's a goodun'.
>>739217928I already raped everyone there unfortunately :')
>>739218523Good job. Next step is to go speak the password.
BB will always be the best souls game.
>>739218523Like >>739218637 says time for the woods then. I think. I could've sworn you could go somewhere else right now too but I forget it's been forever. You could always do chalice dungeons.lol
>>739218990>You could always do chalice dungeons.Do they work on emulator?
>>739219046I haven't played the game through emulation. But I would think at least some of them work otherwise you emulationfags are missing out on a few boss fights you can only get by going in there. One is particularly important if you're a lorefag.
>>739218990hemwick
>>739219046The story dungeons work and you can generate your own randomized dungeons too. You just can't plug in a code to play someone else's generated dungeon without online (they're working on that though)
>>739217368Why is BB's lore so uninteresting compared to DS?
>>739221320>Why is BB's lore so uninteresting compared to DS?You'd have to elaborate why you feel this way cause it's pretty well agreed that BB's lore is superior to DS.
>>739218924...after DeS (2009) and Elden GOTD
>>739219046Yes. It's complicated but there are basically 2 kinds of chalice dungeons: pre-made ones provided by the game itself, and "random" ones (not actually random, but seeded from passwords called "glyphs" and intended to be shared between players online). If your goal is just to see all the chalice-exclusive bosses and finish the chalice "campaign," you don't need to worry about glyphs at all. Just use the materials you find in the regular game to create them. There's a linear progression and you'll eventually "finish" exploring all of them.As for the password-based ones: you can't browse for them in-game because the PS4's online features aren't emulated yet, but you CAN use this tool to inject a lot of known good ones into your save file and load them up.https://www.nexusmods.com/bloodborne/mods/121 Some neat creepy shit in there, including farming exploits, various test rooms and even entirely unused bosses.
>>739221672like this one
>>739221672Would you mind explaining to me what chalice dungeons even are, and if they're worth doing or not?
>>739221672Chalice Dungeons were so fucking cool. I would love them on PC as they used to function.>>739222281"Randomly" generated dungeons of enemies and loot. A few years ago the math came out and there's 2500 combinations or so possible. Otherwise it's super fun.
>>739222281They were a weird experiment to try and add "infinite content" to the game. If you've played Elden Ring, its catacombs/caves are direct descendants of BB's chalice dungeons (they are literally identical in terms of objective: "find a switch somewhere, hit it to open a door to a boss, kill the boss, continue").Are they worth doing? Yes, if you want to see the exclusive bosses and content. Otherwise, they're kind of meh imo. Pretty repetitive, dull layouts, and some ridiculously cruel modifiers making some of the fights insufferable (one dungeon type caps you to like 1 HP so you just get oneshot by everything). Try to do them on NG, waiting until NG+ cycles makes them even harder. You can rack up a ton of resources doing them, though, as they were intended as a quasi-official "grinding" method if the main game was proving too difficult.
>>739222281To add to what other anons said, they're basically the endgame grind. You can refight some bosses here, and encounter new enemies and bosses not part of the main story. The biggest rewards are the Lost and Uncanny variants of weapons, and powerful blood gems.Lost and Uncanny weapons share the exact same stats as their normal variants you'd find, but have different blood gem stats, which may suit your needs. Stronger blood gems do absurd shit like boosting your attack by nearly 30% per gem. It's autistic minmaxing stuff, but you can also do some neat things like turning your Kirkhammer into a pure fire damage weapon if you really want to by using the right blood gems.
I don't even know where the fuck I'm supposed to find the emulator compatible version of Bloodborne
