Drakengards gameplay being shit is a secondary nier fag meme. Its a musou not a dmc clone or a souls like. Yes you can spam the aoe combo and it kinda works but not really, its tedious and inefficient and doesnt work in every situation. Each weapon class has a different moveset. Each weapon has different magic. You have multiple jump attacks one of which you can juggle with, you have a dash attack to disperse enemies. You can also mount your dragon on ground levels too. You have allies you can summon, arioch is best but all are useful, seere is also pretty good.

Drakengard is really not that bad. The camera sucks ass but besides that all the weapons upgrading and gaining new skills is awesome. And the ace combat dragon sections are pretty dang good. The music drives you just insane enough to enjoy it.
