>>739227940not just you.
>>739227940Yes, especially billions of indians and africans.Imagine how chill this planet would be, it would be a paradise.
>>739227940Yes and I want this scenario to happen >>739228821
>>739227940Depends on what humans you want gone. I hate Avatar 3 because it peddles the same logic as you (humans should be killed to save the environment).
>>739227940you just reminded me to watch that one anime that I've been meaning too, thanks
>>739229161Appleseed?
>>739229436I just realized I forgot to write the name of it down because I'm a fucking retard. Hopefully I'll be able to retrace my steps and find it. Think it was three or four words, but I'll write that one down too I suppose.

>>739229516Was it recent? Touring After the Apocalypse has a similar vibe
>>739227940It's a kino visual aesthetic that was super popular in the 10s for some reason. I think people just want more greenery in their lives.Something about life moving on after humanity has a sort of juxtaposed innocence-sin of knowlesge motif going on with it, I think. Humanity in our sinful nature created great cities of glass, steel and oil, and then in a way, humanity's sins become absolved as nature reclaims our lands and the new innocent life living among the ruins are blissfully unaware they are even living among the shadows of the past, or if they are aware, they can only imagine and ponder with untainted minds what sorts of things and creatures made these amazing sights.

>>739229659THAT'S THE ONEyou just saved me from my own stupidity, mucho gracias
>>739229516Kemono Friends, Nier, and Nier Automata?
>>739229752To be clear, I consider this a new age, liberal hippy mentality. Humans can and should dominate nature. A human life is worth more than any animal or plant. "Humans are extinct" settings always turn me off.Rain World did it right by making the setting an alien planet.
>>739227940I hope an inferno consumes rural and suburban regions in America while sparing urban areas because those places are full of smart, educated people.
>>739229760I cried for 3 days when I got to the end of the manga. The human spirit held on to the very end. Those girls didn't deserve to be the last humans to die.

>>739229871Have fun starving to death.
>>739229821It's better when you still have something human-adjacent but carefree living in the wreckage like Friends. It carries a more biblical tone since it's like a return to Eden of sorts. The new life get to look at our sins laid bare and know how to avoid them in order to maintain the new EdenAlthough, I think a future where humanity thrives and makes great cities full of human wonders and innovation would be far better, especially if it means getting to form healthy relationships with our own silicon reflections.

Kenshi.Going to Obedience for the first time truly was something.
>>739227940Some billions must die so that our civilization can progress forward.
>>739227940i'd settle for god just introducing phasing. Just imagine everyone gets sent to one of 5 different earths, and you can move between them if necessary, but whenever one gets over 2 billion people another one gets split off.
>>739230751Everyone would just try to immigrate to the white planets.
>>739230325Speaking of the bible, you reminded me of this passage for Genesis. 1:26-28. I always thought it was cool.>26And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.>27So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.>28And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. My understanding is that God charged humans to be the masters of all other life. It's not a license to wipe them out -there's other passages that say animal cruelty is wicked- but we are absolutely above every animal and plant on the planet, in God's eyes.

>>739231714the kind that thinks quotes random spots from the bible and brags how cool they are

>>739229516shin sekai yori is what you're thinking of
>>739227940It doesn't work like you'd envision.OP pic for instance is an example of careful human cultivation amd maintenance. Without human intervention you won't have places that looked like OP pic at all. The entire railway would be covered by overgrowth and it'd take you a lot of labour to get it to look like OP's pic.Real nature is uncomfortable and unforgiving. You'd probably catch a tick bite on your first excursion and then get alpha-gal syndrome, lack the resources or knowledge to cure yourself in time then turn into a red meat allergic husk for the rest of your short life.
>>739227940I want it but I believe it will happen eventually anyway so there's no point of actively wishing for people to die or genociding them causing unnecessary suffering.
>>739237493>Harvestersuch an interesting game. truly edgy. i don't think anything like it can or will be made again
>>739238972This.Go hiking on a nature trail, and then go hiking off the nature trail. It gets no-fun pretty quickly. Not to mention if people were gone there'd be more animals, which means more predators like lions, tigers, and bears roaming around. And that doesn't even get to medical problems. We'd be living like the wild west again, only a little more modern.
>>739237493you have fucking amazing taste anon. i wish i was friends with you. no joke, if you are reading this and have discord and want to be friends, you can add me, my tag is "speedos.", make sure to include the dot at the end
>>739227125no one game in particular to point out, but i feel lots of indie games recently have been taking place in/on these industrial megastructures. i wonder why the trend is picking up steam nowadays
>>739228925Damn, didnt know Avatar was actually based
>>739227125Lucid blocksElona
I'm really looking forward to the next ashes game, because even if it's a pretty straight forward post apocalyptic setting, it's pretty nice and keeps getting better. 2063 was linear, afterglow was "open zone" with linear segments and already had some pretty memorable locations (the mall, the dome). The linear spinoff hard reset in my opinion reached a new level of quality in the environments, also adding portraits and voice acting. If the next game is in the same semi-open style of afterglow but more ambitious then it's probably be really cool

>>739238972Reminder that the government is in fact using ticks as a bioweapon and have been for a long time now. This isn't even a theory at this point, it's fact.
Extreme Evolution is basically epilepsy warning the game, but once you get used to its visual language it's full of interesting stuff to explore.
>>739227460>happysadGay terminology. Easy skip.
