>28-year-old virginNick needs to hurry up. The Fey bloodline needs an heir.
Women can't be single or virgins
>>739255968NICKYOU MUST PRODUCE THE NEXT GENERATION OF THE FEY BLOODLINE NOW
>>739255968
capcom should've went with this design for her in SoJ instead
>>739257149Ok Pearl, take off your panties and bend over
>>739255968Sorry, the fujos have already decided that he's impregnating Edgey's boypussy.
Rate this sequencing in something I was writing:>5 statements final CE>statement #3 is hidden at the start, only #1, #2, #4 and #5 are available>to reveal statement #3, you need to press statement#2, but you have to pick "Move on" instead of "Press Harder" on the first prompt because Phoenix needs to ask a different question instead>once statement#3 is added, there is no direct contradiction -- however it makes statement#5 contradictory instead>evidence to present: another witness statement saying "I don't think anyone saw me in [different location] during these 5 mins">contradiction: statement#3 reveals the current witness knows where [other witness] was, but it does not outright state anything incorrect and the witness doesn't say "I saw this" specifically -- statement#5 is basically "there is nothing suggesting I might have left my room during the 5 minutes gap", if you present before statement#3 is added then you get a penalty regardlessIs it JFA/T&T-tier bullshit sequencing and convoluted contra, or is it something fair enough for the very last CE?
>>739259208It sounds fair as long as you haven't conditioned the player into always press further.
>>739259470>It sounds fair as long as you haven't conditioned the player into always press further.Even if you personally don't, that's how AA is played either way. Anyone who plays AA will do this for sure and might waste at least one attempt or two at statement#5 baiting the fuck out of presenting before statement#3 is added.
>>739259536Yeeaaahhhh, I'd say you'd want to let the player know that "sometimes you don't need to explore everything" or something if you'd want this to feel proper rather than like shakey design for the sake of a twist.I've seen fangames and indies pull it off so it can be done, like to advance a section in Hero of Law you need to actually agree with Ganondorf on something that could be harmful to your client because it's just an established fact at this point and isn't worth debating.
>>739255968Sorry, but during her time as a medium she often had clients who wanted her to channel the spirits of their deceased wives for a final farewell, which often resulted in one last sexy time, with her body as the deceased wives's vessel.
>>739257481ejaculation
Ponder Maya Fey getting so sweaty that you can see through her clothes
Man the Ace Attorney art style sucks in HD
>>739259831I think I read this doujin
>>739259831im a cuck so this is a positive, not a negative
>>739257631B-but Mr Nick, we can’t cuck Mystic Maya like that… you’re his special someone
>>739259208That's perfectly fine.>>739259536>>739259765AA already includes moments where you're given options to press harder or back down and you need to back down to unlock the progression. If some the player is dumb and just spams press harder without trying other options then they need rethink how they're playing the game.
I want to fuck Maya
>>739259765>Hero of LawGood to know I'm not the only one who ended up trying that from these threads.Yeah it's good, way too good in fact, how the fuck did they do it.>if you'd want this to feel proper rather than like shakey design for the sake of a twist. To be fair the thing you can "press harder" on is retarded as fuck, we even get a round of everyone blankposting. It helps that it's the only press when you get a prompt in this specific CE. There are others with multiple "press further" and they all work as intended. All of this mess and the defense doesn't even prove "leaving her room=going to the crime scene" until the real final present, but there again, AA case.
>>739260306mind providing some examples? It's not that I don't believe you, but I can't remember this being the case in either either the GAA's or AAI's and those are the games i've played the most recently.>>739260397In that case that might be enough to silently guide the player towards what they need to do.
Thena mien wife
>>739260472I can't remember any examples offhand but I played all the games last year I think there were many moments where you don't just brute-force through the testimony by pressing and need to pick the right options to unlock more testimony.
Does anyone have the image of Susato saying "Maybe we should tone down the food analogies" or something?
>>739260472>>739260306Anyway ty anons. Thought I was starting to go full JFA/T&T-tier sequencing by now.Think that overall the case isn't even really difficult, I'd put it on the same tier as 2-2 maybe. 2-3 would already be harder.
>>739261156
>>739260907AI garbage
>>739260972Canon games have these:>all statements revealed at the start, and at least one is contradictory. This is kinda common in the first game>all statements revealed at the start, but you can only progress by one press that will eventually give you a present or important answer prompt>all statements revealed at the start, you only need to press one, some, or all statements(usually Gumshoe's first in many cases since he's just telling you basic facts>one hidden statement, you will need to press, then "press further" if prompted, and finally "add to testimony" -- hidden statement is the contradiction, this is frequent enough on the last day, and sometimes on the very last CE>one hidden statement, same as above except the contradiction is another statement -- revealing the hidden one is sometimes necessary, but other times it's actually just bait>multiple hidden statements, added on different press prompts>multiple hidden statements, but you can pick only one to add, usually on the same press promptAnd the retarded ones:>press the same statement twice to progress>press late statement first, then press an early one(even if you already pressed it)>present doesn't work, but pressing and then being asked to present somehow does even if it's exactly the same shit>one of the statements has a contradiction, however you actually need to press to reveal a statement that says basically the same thing and then present to that(ahem fuck you 3-4)>more statements are contradicted by the same piece of evidence but only one works because uh
>>739261959>press late statement first, then press an early one(even if you already pressed it)This can make sense if pressing the last statement reveals something new which then casts doubt on a different statement.
>>739260303BEND OVER
>>739255968phoenix can never get with a woman in the present timeline because the franchise needs to milk fujos to stay afloat and any confirmation that EdgeworthxNick isn't on the table is franchise suicide
>>739262281I get the logic behind it, but it's very counterintuitive to do that especially if there is no prompt nor any new statement is added to the "official" ones.
>>739255968>28-year-old virginAh, I remember when I was that a virgin at that age, good times, feeling so young and hopeful.
>>739261959Also wanted to say, always had very mixed feelings about the hidden statement ones.On one hand, 9/10 times they are signaling you which statement to focus on, and you can basically ignore the rest of the testimony. On the other hand, it's clever when then hidden statement is meant to reframe the context of the entire thing, thus creating a different contradiction elsewhere - except the game doesn't do this frequently enough so it feels like you are getting baited into presenting to the hidden statement by sheer habit.
>>739255968>Has a diet of only hamburgers>Still looks like thatZaaaaamn Fey genetics are truly STRONG
>>739259765Just have the assistant CE loop convo has them imply that maybe they shouldn't press the witness too hard this time
>>739263705tfw technically the assistant I have is a decently smart grill(just a bit less than Phoenix himself, sometimes more though) but if I made her perfectly in-character in the CE loop convos then she would give massive hints or solve them herself. She gets to be smart out of the courtroom though, since there it doesn't matter who is actually finding ebidens or asking the good questions.
>>739263882I mean, in PLvsAA Layton is pretty much the smartest person in the room at all times but the player/phoenix is still in charge of all the courtroom segments, it can definately work if you're careful with it
>>739264073Sure, it's still smart in the sense "can think logically and figure out detective stuff" but also "never been in a courtroom before, lets the lawyer actually handle it and tries to go for a Different Angle(TM) if the lawyer gets stuck on a specific problem".
What if Maya had to play attorney to defend Phoenix? Could she pull it off?
>>739264224she could just channel Mia and let her take over if she's ever in that situation
>>739264432What if the villain had a spirit medium accomplice who channeled Mia first so Maya couldn't?
>>739264506>Suddenly Franzizka with a wig enters the roomMaya Fey and the prosecu-defense is ready your honor
>>739264224Skipping the obvious "yes because she can summon Mia or any lawyer she wants"....Maya is honestly full on "moral support".Evidence-gathering? Eh, probably her strongest point (and that's not a good thing.Mystery solving? She barely does any of that Lawyering? Straight no. I'd trust Susati to pull it off for obvious reasons, and maybe Trucy because if anything she might be a very good detective who can easily figure out elaborate tricks, literally easier than anything she's doing in her magic shows.
>>739264224why wouldn't phoenix be able to defend himself? he's done it before

>>7392650842nd pic never happened. During the HoboNick phase he allegedly never contacted Maya unless SoJ retconned that since I still have to play it
>>739266347Imagine how fucking weird it would be to know that this exceptionally good lawyer has an assistant who got charged with murder multiple times and always got fully acquitted. This is either good evidence of a conspiracy against Wright, or that he's a serial bullshitter.
>>739264776>why wouldn't phoenix be ableRemember that time he fell into the river trying to run over a burning bridge and a certain prosecutor had to cover him?

>>739266795
>>739266737Never understood this case.He could've easily defended himself, even if he wasn't a lawyer anymore. Why put his fate in the hands of a rookie?
>>739266839Mr Nick is so lucky, I bet they will give birth to a strong generation of mystics
>>739266839GODDAMN
>>739266908>NickNo one is straight in this series
never played these games but is capcom afraid of insinuating any sort of romance between any of the cast? for a game that involves murder you'd think they wouldn't be so weird
>>739266850It's ultimately the biggest issue that existed when they were trying to make a new set of games, they never managed to justify why we even needed a new cast in the first place.
>>739267601Not really because 3-1's entire plot is about Phoenix's gf, and also Mia's bf.There are other canon relationships scattered around too. It's fine in the first trilogy, but the second one goes full retard to make sure the main cast didn't fuck, even forgetting a certain character who literally dated Phoenix and looked very much into him still.
>>739267601yea because the fan base wants certain pairings (homo ones) and if non-homo pairings are canonized the fan base will riot
>>739267924>>739268010i was considering playing it purely for the women but this kinda makes me not want to

>>739267502Fuckoff tranny
>>739268539It's a good seriesThe first three are better of the second trilogy is still absolutely worth playing.
>>739268868>Takes it literally>Zero sense of humorAutist
>Phoenix Wright thread>No clussy posts yetSurprising
>>739266483AJ pretends the old cast never existed and DD establishes Pearl as having still been a frequent visitor to the office so Maya presumably was over at some point
>>739268778>Maya saving Franzizka of being murdered by Pearl
>>739268884tranny art style
You technically do see her topless.
>>739261959AA's biggest issue has always been how it communicates it's narrative logic through gameplay. How many times have you done a case, found a contradiction, known exactly what is wrong with what was said but being stuck because you can't figure out the exact specific sequence of buttons you need to press to actually present the contradiction cause it could be multiple different things. I don't think there is a single AA game that doesn't have this glaring fault. Even something like Danganronpa does this better than AA.
>>739255968Let’s be real here. No 28 year old American woman who has traveled the world for her “medium training” is a virgin. She probably also has a bunch of trashy tattoos under those robes now.
>>739269510that's a tourist old fad
>>739260410I came here to post this. She would totally throw out all the Muslims in her country.
