You degenerates are probably spending upwards of 6 hours a day sitting on your computer chair. Have you invested in yourself? Or are you still sitting on a goyseat? Post your computer chairs here, and give a short review of how it performs. Picrel is a Herman Miller Aeron I bought used last month from an office clearance. Best $500cad I spent in years. This is gaming related because gaming is usually done while sitting in a chair

>>739281040I have that chair, it's not comfortable at all.. but if I sit in anything else, I'm in for ultra pain.
>>739281730Kind of the same opinion here. It's not uncomfortable to sit in for me, but it forces a good posture, which is undesirable when i'm tired and want to lean back. That's when I use the tilt mechanism and just lay back, and the leaning back in this chair is so so comfortable for me as long as I have a tiny pillow or sweater under my neck where the plastic rim is. And yea, I sat in my friends dxracer seat for an hour or 2, and It was horrible. I couldn't believe I actually had a "gaming" seat at one point. The Aeron has models with different adjustment options also
No idea why none of these gamer chairs ever think to stick a fan in the seat/back.Rode in a car with that and it was a fucking gamechanger.

>>739281040I use a Herman Miller Embody, with the Atlas headrest. It's nice, but the cushion on the seat isn't good enough for me so I have a seat cushion on there. I noticed recently that the headrest has dug holes into the top of the chair, so that's going to suck for the resale value. I've had it for about six years now though, and it's holding up. I think next time I might get a Steelcase, they look comfier.
>>739282059save the dogwhistles for your discord i dont car
>>739281040I have a Herman Miller Embody logitech gaming with Atlas headrest. I am enjoying it although I've never really dialed in any settings to make it fit my posture the best and i don't know if I'm sitting ergonomically. It practically feels fine at any setting or tension i use. So i just left it alone. It's by the far best office chair I've ever owned.I sat in an Aeron in store. Comfy but i prefer something that closer resembled a uniform highback chair with no gaps. Libernovo Omni was alright but i felt like these two were inferior to the Embody at least according to my personal tastes.I hope it lasts me a long time since i only got it this year but was happy with the investment.
>>739281040i have a basic hermano schiller, zero back pains or anything since upgrading from a piece of shit. i had to get one of those compression pillow things to avoid numb bum but thats itthen i get into bed with the cheapest possible mattress and fucking destroy myself kek, need to sort that out next.
>>739282146I've had no issues with the seat pan, doesn't feel too hard to me and actually quite soft. I have no idea what some people are complaining about.I've sat in plushy chairs and i think the difference is practically unnoticeable because it still feels good anyway. It was to the point of where i searched out the most plushy ergo chair on the market i could find (that was also well built) and found that there was no point in the extra padding at all.
Let me guess, you need more?
>>739282059I think chairs are interesting. Gaming chairs not so much.
>>739282429Well I don't have a cursed katana.
>>739282146>>739282159I was looking at trying an Embody. I get a sharp pain in my ass if I sit for too long in anything, even an Aeron like I have at my job, so I wasn't sure. But it does look neat.
>>739282429enjoy your hemorrhoids
>>739282394I didn't have trouble with it for a while, but eventually it started making my ass hurt after sitting in it for a while. I do like the back rest though. It did relieve the pain that I used to get in my lower back.
>>739282556NTA but i've been using a similar chair(shorter seat, taller backrest, yellow) for nearly a decade now, and i have no hemorroids, despite closing in on being 40
>>739281040hm mirra 2, been working good for the past 5 years. pretty much like an aeron but with a more solid backrest, which feels like it works better for me personally. wish it had a headrest sometimes though, might try one of those 'universal' ones
>>739281040I got a used Aeron for $300 and I'm pretty sure bed bugs jumped off of it and infested my mattress. Threw it out and haven't seen one since. Don't be a retard like me if you buy second hand shit and check for bed bugs.
I sit on a steel frame chair with cushioning because my habit of rocking back and forth has broken at least 5 office chairs over the years
>>739282774The mattress I threw out to be specific. Still have the Aeron after I steam cleaned the fuck out of it.
>>739282715I tried out the original mirra when I went to pickup this chair. Didn't like it at all. Mostly the actual material that the seat part was made of. I like the mesh on the aeron much better
i dont care about money and got the logitech fancy one, its vastly overrated. its way too low so it gets stuck constantly, you got to buy the aftermarket headrest and it still sucks, the arm rests just randomly go out of place for no reason, also its uncomfortable for a long term resting place for your armsits a nightmare to clean the posture is shitalso when you buy it they send it pre-made so you got to carry a huge heavy as fuck chair up 3 floors to your computer room, the box was too damn big to even get in the front door
>>739281160let me guess, you need more?
>>739281040I am sitting in a Herman Miller Aeron right now. I have a cover on it because my cat kept stretching his claws on the mesh lol
>>739281040Went to an office liquidation shop expecting to love the Aeron, but couldn't get comfortable no matter how I tried to sit in it. I'm used to sitting in an upright, engaged position, so it's not like I hated it due to bad posture.Went and sat in the Steelcase Gesture, and I had a "this is my hole, I belong here" moment. Dropped $300 on it and took it home immediately. Mine is slightly less ergonomic since I have a Subpac strapped to it that I sit against, but I have the straps ratcheted down tight so it sits exactly where I want it to against my back. It will be a dark day when this chair finally fails.
I have this Bradley executive chair I got from Staples. It's pretty good.
>>739282552I can't speak for the Aeron because i personally don't like mesh and i theorized that it could potentially cause me pain in longer sitting sessions. It's not my preference and i like that this uses a cloth material instead. That is preferred style of chair and hence i never took a gamble on an Aeron. Mesh for me is too much of a gamble.Whilst i sat in the aeron and know it's still a soft kind of mesh it's also mesh which is hard by default even in the most ideal circumstances.
Trucker gaming seats when?
>>739282515To be fair, if you actually have a gaming chair, you're a genuine retard. What you should be getting is an executive chair or an office chair.
>>739283063Looks like a nice chair. I wish the aeron had a headrest like that.
this chair is older, than most of /v/ermin
>>739283186Why is there an ass stain? Why are you sitting on that thing without any pants on and sweating on it?
>>739283186Jesus Christ that's horrific . Are you over 200lb?
>>739283163Mine came without a headrest unfortunately, and there's no way to put an OEM headrest on the non headrest version because TOTL chair manufacturers are retards. I have an aftermarket headrest secured with heavy duty 1/2" thick zip ties that works perfectly though.
The viral marketing worked. Just bought an Aeron after putting up with my shitty chair for a few years
>>739283240>without any pants onNot him but I have the Aeron and during summer I sit on it naked all the time, and I take a little desk fan, put it under the chair and aim it upward so my balls get a nice blast of fresh air.
>>739283291I sure hope you didn't pay MSRP
its a bit of a meme but I do like the secretlabs chair, been using one for quite a long time now. the fabric version stays cool in the summer and doesn't look like shit instantly when my cats put their claws on it. i've had more traditional mesh office chairs before and I like this a lot more.
>>739283315One thing that's nice about the aeron is that the mesh is such a materiel that is very easy to clean. and doesn't really stain
>>739283318I don't have a real choice in my country. Only one company sells it and I genuinely can't be fucked dealing with secondhand.
>>739283385Did you have to drive to Pyongyang to pick it up?
>>739283442>driveNo, we can't afford cars in Strongest Korea. But yeah there are no genuine herman miller stores in New Zealand, just a retailer and some depleted office supplies that pop up on auction sites.
My old chair finally snapped after some 10-15 years of service so I had to get a replacement quick. Coworker recommended me picrel. The footrest is wobbly and sucks, the seat feels too high, the in-built lumbar is a bit too big, and I wish I could adjust the headrest and armrests. I'm probably getting ripped off, but I was desperate. As an upside, it's not pleather, and my previous chair had literally just a pleather cover over a metal frame with two (2) elastic strips and a piece of cardboard for a backrest, so all in all it is an improvement. What was Ikea thinking? "It looks the part, it'll fool our customers"? Well, it worked on my parents.Still need to find a proper cover to protect the fabric. But for now, it gets a blanket.>>739282429Tried to get one of these in the interim, all I could find was resin shit that barely lasted a day before cracking like thin ice. Literally not even 24 hours. Scratched up my ass and drew blood in the process, even. They don't make them like they used to anymore, at least I got my 10€ back. Fuck carrefour.Had to shell out 50€ on a foldable camping chair off decathlon instead. Plan was to return it, but it turned out to be nice enough I've decided to actually keep it.

>>739284007Same. Why do companies all thing we want pleather garbage and mesh? Give me a nice comfy fabric seat.
>>739284084If people have to modify their chairs with thicker cushioning could it just be that the chair is not comfortable by design?I believe the HM Embody is comfortable by default despite lacking plush. Mainly because of the pixel nodes under the chair not causing the hard bottoming out feeling, that in conjunction with a cloth material is what makes up for lack of cushion. Although one anon in the thread feels the opposite about it to me so i guess it might be subjective. My whole goal when finding a chair is that it has to be comfy with no modifications. Whilst i found that to be the case with the chair i won't deny the headrest is good thing for lounging and laying back reclined so your head has something to rest against. Otherwise reclining is awkward.
>>739283107I have one similar from a competitor brand. great chair wide enough for me to sit crisscross only wish they were actually made with real leather like my old chair.

just changed my 8 y/o chair.padding got flattened and the gas piston thing was starting to falter.i probably could have fixed it myself if i REALLY wanted to, but apparently changing the padding is a hassle and the replacements are not super cheap either.my only advice is to pick a chair with a mesh backrest at the very least. it's simply superior.would have picked one with a mesh seat as well, but that's a more premium option, and i'm fine with middle-of-the-road
>>739288251Mesh lasts about 20 years before it starts tearing, from my experience. Cost me about 150 bucks for a new set of mesh for my aeron, and takes 10 minutes to swap out. I should probably buy another set and store it somewhere because in another 20 years it might be harder to find.

I have this exact chair and it's the second one I've bought in probably 13 years. It's pretty comfy and the flip up arm rests are a must since the space between my desk and my bed is very limited so it needs to be able to be pushed under my desk. The downside is the cheap fake leather so many chairs have that comes off in little flakes that get absolutely everywhere. My current chair is looking pretty shredded up these days so I've been looking into alternatives but nothing meets all of my criteria. I would like to try a mesh back for airflow but none of the mesh chairs have a large head cushion like the chair I'm using. Also don't really want mesh for the seat since I feel like it would rip easily, or fabric for that matter because sometimes I sit with my feet on the seat and my dry ass heels rip that fabric apart. I wish there was some hybrid chair with a mesh back but a wide and deep real leather head cushion and a real leather seat. With flip up armrests.Does anyone know of such a chair?
>>739289325>can walk for hours, no problems at all>try to use one of these>not even 15 minutes later feel like i'm fucking dying
>>739287123>Do you find that you actually use the headrest?Yes. I push the headrest in so far that it's always sort of touching my neck whilst I'm gaming and that is very comfortable for me. So it supports my neck in a lounging kind of way but for an upright posture instead of leaving it far back just for the recline. I have no idea if that's a healthy idea or not but it does feel good. The chair is already pretty much at least pushing you to sit ergonomically so it can't be that bad for my health or anything. I dunno.I might change that up eventually even if it's not a good idea and just always sit in constant recline if that's something better for my health. I'm not sure which is more ideal. But the fact that it's very open in the way that you can use means it's a very versatile headrest. My one complain is that i have to tighten it up with an allen key every so often or it becomes loose. A little annoying but not a deal breaker.

>>739289172>>739289215>>739291453>14 year old boy in China was killed anally after the gas cylinder in the base of his office chair (the part that allowed the user to adjust the seat up and down) exploded and sent chunks of the metal seat up his rectum, causing him to bleed to death. Brvtal
>>739300379Sitting like this right now lolI'm a few years in with a steelcase gesture and couldn't be happier with it. Used an aeron back when I was in an office and while it was okay, the seatpan was only designed to be sat in a single way whereas the gesture is flat and gives support for however you want to sit
>>739300379Kinda like xqc honestly.
>>739300379
>>739300636who want they bussy ate
>>739281040yup
>>739282042New libernovo chair has a fan in the seat actually. Thinking on buying it. Its expensive though, like as much as my 5080...
>>739285437It gets worse. I find my wife's hairs everywhere, all day long. Everywhere from on my keyboard to wrapped around the base of my cock (the mystery here being that it wasn't there when I started the day / had a shower / etc and it shows up later in the day while I'm talking a piss). Long hair just gets everywhere.
my setupa memory foam pillow sitting on a memory foam mattress with the keyboard on my lapit doesn't get any cozier than this
>>739281040>Have you invested in yourself? Or are you still sitting on a goyseat?Goyseat, I put all my spare money in crypto shitcoins.
>>739300254what game is that?
instead of spending 2k on a chair I just stand up and walk around a little bit every hour
>>739300859>>739301226nice
>>739281040ive had the same chair for like 8 years and the fake leather has mostly peeled off but I can't afford another one so
>>739281040>6 hoursrookie numbers get those up asap
>>739282042how fat are you kek
>>739281040I use a random office chair that I found in my apartment when I moved in. Very barebones and probably 20+ years old.
just buy a 40 dollar leather chair that you have to build yourself.
>>739301550Cataclysm dark days ahead. It's dwarf fortress autism but you control 1 player and it's a zombie apocalypse. Plays like an old dungeon crawler in an open world.
>buy one of those ergonomic chairs>hurts my back more instead of helping>buy one of those ergonomic supports>same shit>use a straight wooden chair>all fineTook me years to understand that not everything works for everyone.
>>739281040A friend of a friend used to work at a corporate office for a big telecom company, and stole a few Herman Miller Aeron chairs from them. That was like 8 years ago and it's still holding up great.
>>739300379It's pretty bad on my back, but #yolo.
im a manlet so finding a good chair is sorta difficult most chairs are too deep or whatever
>>739282429I use one of these with an old ratty couch cushion from a couch that's no longer in use. I've used this setup for over a decade, probably getting close to two at this point. Although the cushion wasn't as a shit originally. I'm sure I will one day pay the price, but for now it's fine.
>>739289038How do people use that leg-rest? I'm genuinely curious, because to me it seems like it doesn't extend far enough.
My secret lab titan Evo died after 3 years and a half lol. Last time I buy from this scam company, next chair I buy will be Herman Miller or something
>>739303250almost like secret lab is dogshit and the people pushing them are chinks or retards
>>739288447Based. I mentioned it above in reply to someone else with a recliner, I have a similar setup but I have an adjustable height desk on wheels instead of putting wheels on the chair. I have a long skinny table to my right that my PC and some other doodads are on so the desk just has my keyboard, mouse and monitors. Can move the desk very easily at pretty much any height to accomodate any position from cross-legged to laying horizontally along with getting in and out very easily. It feels like the best possible gayming setup to me.
>fixes you're life in your path
>>739281040Anyone tried a mesh lined chair from Costco? I've been thinking about getting it but like others have said, I'm worried about the cheap price for comfort and longevity.
>>739289639My room setup and TV placement means that I have to stand to play as it is somehow less comfortable to crane my neck up than it is to stand. You get used to it after a while and learn to shift your weight around.
>>739303443>office sybianSister?
>>739291597literally mine but I'm getting the cheapest no brand version of it
I had a big boil on my leg that popped on my chair like 2 years ago and it looks just like Africa and South America
i have a humanscale freedom and there is no really comfortable way to sit in it. every day i wish for one of those cheap blue fabric office chairs, which don't seem to be manufactured (affordably) anymore.lumbar support is a fucking scam
My chair snapped in half friday.I was going to get a mesh one for airflow, but every single one I sat in was uncomfortable.I then tried out one of the Shaq chairs at OfficeMax and bought it on the spot
>>739300432>killed anallyYup that's going in the DSM
>>739282146>>739282159ive been eyeing these since i need to replace my dxracer ive had since about 2012, but they are so damn expensive and i have no idea if i like it, and i dont want the hassle of sending it back
>>739281160>>739282928I don't get it
>>739301874imagine thisyou step into a hot car and you turn the car on.now instead of waiting for the seat to passively cool with the rest of the car, you get some of that sweet AC air on your back and legs.even if the cabin still has hot air swirling around for the next several minutes, you basically get immediate cooling right where it feels the best, like sitting down on a pristine cool chair.ironically if you were fat those seats probably wouldn't work as well because the air flow would get partially blocked by your immense bulkanyway yeah it seems like a nice idea for a chair because no matter how long you sit on it you'd have an actively cool seat sapping away your body heat.
>>739282429i am genuinely sitting on a Dark Green one right now.surprisingly sturdy, and it actually has helped my back after sitting on broken office chairs for a good long while.
>sitting on shitty chair forever.>while riding around town to do things, spot multiple homeless people with nicer chairs than you.anyone else experience this feel?
>>739300379I used to sit like this until I got a blood clot
>>739304391severely underrated
>>739293860kek used one of these way back in the day in my first aptthen i just used a revolving door of stolen and/or borrowed chairs from the office job i had>>739289543>>739281276bought one of these big fuckers from an office depot in the mid 10's. cushion got all fucked and started peeling horribly. had it till 2019 iircswitched it out for a cloth secretlab. it was pretty comfy for a year or two, but got fucking horrible. i was practically laying in it anytime i was at the pc since it was so fucking uncomfortablebought a re-manufactured steelcase leap with an atlas headrest last year and it has been fucking phenomenal crandall furniture i believe it wasnever liked mesh chairs, personally
>>739284264if its true that he's been using it for 30+ years then its definitely leather, plastic would disintegrate after that timeif you take care of leather it can last for a very very long time

>>739300379Left foot fully on chair, right one on the floor
>>739310458>inb4 any news from the shire
>>739281040I bought a lightly used Steelcase Leap v2 from an office liquidator for $200. Excellent chair. I've had one for years, you can sit in it all day with no discomfort. They're also plentiful on the used market, unlike the Embody which I don't think is any better. We have Aerons at the office, and I don't like mesh chairs.
>>739281040I started using my bed instead got a Bluetooth adapter and a controller, I only sit at my desk to shitpost and do some artfag shit
I will buy a new dxracer soon since every argument against them is always made by faux manly redditors who hate that they look silly
>>739310518that's a cool room that you've totally ruined with garbage, good job anon
>>739281040mesh chairs are a complete fucking meme scam and you all deserve the back problems you're going to get from themyour back and your neck and head are supposed to get FIRM support when sitting down for prolonged periods
I have Noble Chair Leather. First it felt too hard but after 10 minutes it felt like the best chair i have ever owned so far. Its not the most expensive chair ofc but not cheap either prob mid segment around 500 euro I think?Yeah i can sit on it all day long and it still feels good. Was a bit worried for leather during summer but so far haven't been a problem.
>>739311159Forgot the pic of it. Dont know much about chairs in general but I think this brand is pretty common
>>739311250why is it styled after a refugee's jacket?
>>739311480kek
Some days, I just lean my chair all the way back. Put my legs on my bed. And just sleep on the chair.
>>739285437There's barbershop casters you can get that kinda prevent this and are really easy to cleant. long hair
>>739303179only kids use that kind of chair
>>739281040I have a mesh office chair from Staples that's pretty nice, but the mesh seat is starting to lose some of its firmness. Think I bought it 9 years ago. I live in florida so anything that isn't mesh is too hot, not sure what to replace it with.
>>739282515>picrelThose chairs are very beautiful. Recently tried one for the first time and it fucking sucked for sitting in.
>>739311480lol I dunno, but on official site you can read more about ithttps://www.noblechairs.com/en-us/epic-series/real-leather-gaming-chairFucking expensive there.
>>739282429more POWER
>>739281276Had this same chair in brown. The material started peeling not even a year later
If I can't lean the back of my chair to a near sleep position, I don't want it.
I'm a poor latinito; I can't and don't want to spend $500 bucks on a chair like the OP did, but my cheap gaming chair is driving me up the wall. Which of these cheap chairs should I go for based on the design? They're all the same price – it's just the design and the manufacturer that differ.

>>739313276Wednesdays used to be wild even up to 2013. >>739314645Pic related.
I recently got a herman miller embody gayming and it's petty comfy but I don't think it was worth the money, looks pretty cool though
>>739283905What does this do? I sit on a lawn chair now because my "office" chair Steelcase Chair hurt my back and I cant sit in it anymore and now have constant back pain from it and I can do shit anymore.
>>739281730I own a classic and feel the same.Something that made it much nicer for me was taking the arms off and adding a dense, thick, gel-top wheelchair cushion.I've tried a much more expensive Purple cushion before, but it doesn't feel great on the mesh bottom and is much more suited for hard chairs.
>>739300636Me when I jack off.
Forget chairs, what seat cushion do you use?
>>739316556If you need a seat cushion your chair is shit and you should swap it
>>739316556I know what you are
>>739300379Legs cross like a lady (I'm a man I just have a small cock.)
>>739316556>seat cushionHold up fellas. We might have a real woman here
>>739282515depends does the loli come with the chair?
>>739283119trucker seats are 10,000x more comfortable than any gamer chair. Even the $5000 snowflake office chairs are total fucking garbage compared to a trucker seat or even a car seat. You are genuinely better off going to a scrapyard and hauling off a functional seat from a car than buying an Aeron or whatever the fuck snooty fag bullshit chair.
Its perfection. I HATE arm rests, they just get in the way.If you want to melt into a chair, thats what sleeping is for. Sit up straight, engage your core.I also like SCOOOTING across my home.
>>739317595hell yeah
>>739289172>tfw the hydraulic piston on my chair broke and now doesn't move up or down>always afraid this will happen when I sit on it nowI take a risk every time I sit on this thing
