Right after you free her from the armor the sisters teleport in and talk about how they should keep her around to use her more and then she gets teleported away. Why would they kill her right after discussing how they should continue to use her? Makes no sense
>>739300421It's meant to be sad. It's symbolic of things like "Friends, lovers and family" that Link meets, and then has to leave behind due to the "Destiny" that life brings him on. At the end of the game, he's awarded back his childhood so that he can be free of that destiny, and form a life of his own.But all those people are just souls anyway, because they did their part, and regardless, Link never met Ruto in the new timeline, and he still had to leave Saria because he didn't belong, and he also doesn't meet the rest of them.We only see them linger as spirits in the Adult timeline that Link also left behind when Zelda sent him back.
