That's why any discussion over the question of if evolved mode will be an overall benefit or a downgrade is a mute point. Tab target games by their very nature are heavily dependent on both class design AND fight design to find the fun, because the core sandbox itself is shallow (you will never see an FFXIV "combo vid" like you could find back in the day during the peak of games like PSO2.) What they showed of evolved mode class design is a good positive sign, but it will still depend on if the fight design of the expansion endears itself to the more "reactive" gameplay that they're looking for.
