>>739316978Bookmarked.
>>739316978>Seven girls>One boy (looks like a girl)Is it chinese?
>>739316978>survival TPSLooks more like full blown action to me
I question the purpose of releasing a trailer with music but limited game audio.
>>739316978Finally another girls with guns game
https://www.gematsu.com/2026/05/furyu-announces-survival-third-person-shooter-anomalith-for-ps5-switch-2-and-pc>ANOMALITH brings together some of the industry’s greatest and most promising designers and artists, including scenario lead Romeo Tanaka (Stella of the End, Humanity Has Declined), character designer MON (Nisio Isin’s Legends series), and composer Yuka Kitamura (Elden Ring, Sekiro, Bloodborne, Dark Souls III, and Witch Hat Atelier). ANOMALITH is being published by FuRyu and developed by Winning Entertainment Group (formerly Natsume Atari).
>>739320052>Romeo Tanaka (Stella of the End, Humanity Has Declined)Jintai was a fun anime. Are his VNs any good?
Wishlisted. This looks sick
>>739318280It might just be all girls.
>>739321129It is all girls. Which is good. And they're friends, it's not Yuri. Which is also good.
You can dress her up in a maid outfit. I really hope this has a bikini outfit or a nude mod so that I can have her run around in sneakers and a bikini or nude
All the girls and their voice actors
>In the west, the game will be available digitally in a $49.99 standard edition and $69.99 Digital Deluxe Edition.$50 still looks too high for the quality
>>739322658There are apparently at least 46 enemy types, so maybe it'll be content rich
>>739321493>I really hope this has a bikini outfit or a nude mod so that I can have her run around in sneakers and a bikini or nudewhats the point, she is flat as a board
>>739322850Where do you think you are?
>>739320052Didn't know that the guy who wrote Jinrui also wrote part of the garbage that was Rewrite.
Looks really cool. Like Code Vein but shooter and actually good.
>>739316978>anime cringekino>waifu dress up >gun autismMeh. I'll keep an eye on it. Also how'd you happen to find an unlisted link, OP?
>>739323219It was linked on the NintendoEverything article about the game which I happened to spot. They must've been sent it with the press release by the publisher.
>>739316978I like Furyu but all they've produced is trash for the last few years
As someone burnt out waiting on NIGHTMARE OPERATOR, this will have to do.
>>739316978Neat. Glad to see them around.I skipped over Reynatis because it was too expensive but i liked the demo enough, was it any good?
Hope you can change her hair. Short hair is the least attractive of all types.
>>739320894He wrote rewrite.
I love Furyu jank
>ANOMALITH: October 29th>CRYMELIGHT: November 5thWhy would they do this?
>>739323557why not? They are different types of games.
>oh lets see what else they mad->CRYSTAR>Caligula EffectNever mind.
>>739323851They're going to kill GTA VI by releasing two masterpieces so close to it.
>>739316978Looks janky af, im in
>>739323972These games aim is japan, nobody cares about gta there
>>739316978>Furyuthey and Playism are my favority AA jap devs/publishers/whatever
Why not, looks fine, but that's not a pure action game, there's upgrades for everything so it's one of these grinders type games and I bet the actual game will have >damage numbers all over the place.
>AA jap dev that manages to shit out multiple new IP small scale jank projects every yearKeeping the PS2 spirit alive
>>739321191So close yet so far from kino.
>>739323907I'm started playing CRYSTAR and I'm having a blastCaligula Effect is also on my wishlist
Considering the devs how pretentious is the story going to be? Caligula Effect is probably the most insultingly preachy video game I've ever played.>>739324465Good gameplay. AWFUL writing.
Speaking of which, their other upcoming game: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8jfUWN7cdGQBe careful, I was jumpscare ear-raped by the AI auto dub.
Is CRYSTAR the one where one of the characters is a single mother who had an unplanned teen pregnancy?
>>739324604Yes, then it's revealed the would-be father didn't want the child, caused her to have a miscarriage, she erases his soul from purgatory and spends the game flirting with the little girl MC.
>>739323557One's for normal functioning people that play video games and the other one's for adhd riddled retards
>>739324774Is the mother flirting with her aborted baby?
>>739325363No, the aborted baby appears as a soul and Kokoro (the mom) sees it off, though I forget if it goes to the wheel of reincarnation or just sticks around in purgatory.
>>739325528is the mom a god? if the dad that knocked her up had stayed could he have kept plapping her?
>>739324509Never played Caligula Effect, but wasn't it supposed to be their take on Persona? Persona series is pretty fucking preachy to begin with.
>>739325652No, the playable characters are normal people who got summoned to purgatory for reasons except one who is herself the soul of a dead girl. The father died because of another one of the game's villains but his soul ends up aligning himself with her because he's just that much of an asshole.
>>739325763The game's central theme is about escapism and it's so unbelievably preachy and pretentious in it's messaging that it makes Marche look like a fucking joke. It's basically the antithisis to Persona since if Persona was peak wish fulfillment Caligula Effect was basically a scathing criticism of wish fulfillment. Only good thing about the game is the fact that you can join the villains right at the start and none of your friends know about you being a double agent and you can get a bad end where all your friends are heartbroken by the twist that you've been their enemy the entire game.
Now that I think about it these games always feel like they're written for normalfags that hate otaku culture given how so much if what they make feels like it exists to shit on them.
>>739325970I wonder how mad it made the players that came in expecting notPersona.
Guess I'm the only one who played this one.It was pretty trash. Love the art and basically nothing else. The premise was interesting but no enough to carry me to the end of the game.
>>739326217Honestly expectations have nothing to do with it the game's writing is just complete shit. There's literally zero nuance to it's themes.
I don't think I've enjoyed playing even a single one of this dev's games. The most I can say about them is that they always have nice art direction but everything else is always really bad.
>>739324774Sounds like feminist slop
>>739323549Maybe 1/5 of rewrite was good
>>739326282I played both Cry games currently out. I tolerated Crystar for the story and I thought they came pretty close to making something decent with Crymachina, they just fumbled a lot on balancing and things like hit feedback. The story was 120% my thing because I love navel-gazing sci-fi and yuri so I'm fully biased there.
>>739326604The story was the worst part of Crystar though.
>>739326914I had to see it through to right the wrongs done to the cute fluffy dog.
>>739327000Fair enough. I actually found Crymachina's story much more interesting
>>739326282Damn, that bad? It's been on my radar because I would love to play a proper action rpg with cute girls
>>739327000Same, but I came out feeling unsatisfied.
>>739316978I literally was just thinking yesterday why aren't there any anime modern action RE clones and here we goLooks like shit, but I'll play it
>>739316978This actually looks kinda cool. Like that oneechanbara spinoff if it didn't suck ass.
>>739327361If you liked the other game in the series (which I didn't play) then maybe like the other anon said it's actually fine, but for me it just wasn't enough. The gameplay is just terrible. >>739326604It's also right up my alley in many ways too but sadly I'm also the type who think gameplay is still king and imo it's just not good enough.
Speaking of Caligula Effect, I never see anyone ever mention the sequel. Is it the same "escapism bad" story?
How was the "notFFvs13" game btw?
