>buy $100 controller>die in a house fire because it made contact with metal
go back
You already made this thread.
PSA don't hammer a nail into the battery either, a huge design oversight means it might start a fire
>>739327158>valve shill equates poorly designed live contacts as hammering a nail into a batterygood morning rajesh. is valve paying us in steam wallets today too?
>Be retard>Touch hot contacts with metal>WTF SPARKSok bro
I don't know anything about electronics, but wouldn't you make it only deliver the full charge once it knows it's connected to a controller? Or does that require a data pin as well?
>put metal in microwave>it explodes and fucks you up>science clearly needs to BE WARY of all MICROWAVES! THEY ARE BOMBS READYTO HAPPEN!!
>>739327401There might be some rfid shit going on.
>>739326886wtf what do you mean that a short circuit is bad??
Boy the steamie discord is sliding this hard
>Not using in-line USB fusesIt's like you faggots have a death wish
>>739326886What in the fuck? If I bridge metal contact points that conduct electricity .... electricity happens!?!?!?!Who the fuck knew this?Next you'll tell me i shouldn't put metal in the microwave
>>739327809its what valvetrannies deserve
>>739327809Only people with weak hearts cant handle a little electricity
>>739327280>good morning rajesh
>>739327871as a kid i put a tin of beans into the microwave with a spoon inside, is it over for me?
>the amount of shills defending shitty designI remember when 4chan wasn't brown. I miss it.
>>739328013are you a ghost?
>>739328013>He still hasn't realized that he died in that explosion and is now stuck in hell with the rest of us
>>739328063No I survived, the microwave didn't explode but when I touched the spoon it left a very long lasting print from the electric, painful as fuck.
>>739328060would you post for valve's defense if it means you get free forza horizon 6 courtesy of steam?
>>739328013How is this post blank
>>739328060So you blame the knives if an idiot stabs himself with them? Claim rhe knives have poor design for being to sharp to allow idiots to stab themselves?
>>739328153damn, and i didn't even get the chance to finish my video game backlog...
>>739328180there's a difference between a product that requires care to use VS a product that is made like shit. the steam controller puck is the latter. let me revise your knife analogy so you understand. now instead of a normal handle, the tang of the knife is mysteriously sharpened and extends beyond the handle and if you grip the handle, you get cut by the tang. this is bad design. every other hardware that uses this type of metal contact have built-in safety mechanisms that cut power when not properly in use. Valve decided to make this shitty puck live 100% of the time because it is also a wireless receiver
>>739328180This kind of thinking is why china has so many brutal workplace deaths
>smart watch
>>739326886Surprised these retards haven't touched the pins themselves yet
>>739326886Gamesaars keep on winning
