We can both agree he was misguided or not, while I cannot condone murder from the perspective of a race of people systemically oppressed by another I don't think his solution was on paper unreasonable, but just because he was disagreed with by his goody two shoes ex wife doesn't make his plan especially unreasonable. It'd also be another thing if he was a maniac trying to see his plan to fruition, yet the moment Frisk enters his throne room he offers a chat before beginning. He is a strong man who does what he believes must be done, that's a masculine role model. Someone earlier compared it to Undyne's willpower and strength. While flawed in temper and a bit thick headed, if she were a man we would say that'd also constitute as a positive masculine character.
