Was really took back by how in depth the narrative gameplay is and also how complex the combat mechanics are, if you pay attention (signs,oils, decotions, potions etc)Combat is not that great but the complexity of the systems are top tier.Been a long time since I played it but would like to play it again anyway.i actually tried when the next gen version released but IRL was too busy so could not get immersed.

>>739673937It is a hard start, Even know white orchard is full of stuff to do, uts a slow start and you are bombarded with all these mechanics, people etc.Stick with it. its when you get to velen the game shines.Base game it basically has 4 different sections each with a different vibe and gameplay.White orchard, tutorial. then bookended by a trip to the castle which is story based stuff.velen, full on combat, grim dark shit with loads of side quests that are really great.novigrad, which is mainly narrative based, bright city with a dark undertone.then skellege which is a skyyrim vibe northern area but full of islands you travel in boats.Each areas plays so distinct its like a massive journey.Then the 1st DLC adds an area near novigrad that is full on hard boss after hard boss and badass story line.Lastly BaW is a bright massive area with a white stone city and rolling landscaps but also full of this dark vampire story.Solid game, but you need to really invest time in it.

>>739671905I did hearts of stone, but not the second one. I kinda marathoned the entire franchise after few earlier attempts at playing W1. When I got to the new location I've already been playing W3 for like 150h on top of game 1 and 2 and my break was ending so I had less time to play. I started blood and wine and always intended to go back to finish it but as quick breather from playing it every day and I'll get back to it next weekend went from days to weeks to months I eventually accepted I'm probably not going to come back to something I played years ago.
