What are the best modern cinematic platformers?I want to check out the genre
I hate cinematic platformers even more than snoystation moviegames. Thanks for reading.
Bionic Bay is goodcan't be bothered typing them all out so just check this list. I'd add Darwin's Paradox, Unravel and It Takes Two played the demo for Darwin and it ran like shit and was a bit lame, unfortunate. as a genre it doesn't get much love or attention Playdead should hopefully release their 3rd game sometime soon. God knows if The Last Night will ever releasehttps://backloggd.com/u/vehemently/list/cinematic-platformers/release/grid/

>>740311492>I hate cinematic platformers even more than snoystation moviegames. There's no way you genuinely do and are just shitting on the genre for its unfortunate and not really appropriate name.'Cinematic' platformers aren't focused on spectacle or story, they're characterized by their emphasis on wanting to plan out your actions/jumps and using them tactically, though this may take a lot of skill to pull off, over focusing on twitch style platforming that emphasizes accuracy and reacting to things at speed. It includes a number of the best games ever made, like Tomb Raider and Abe's Oddysse.
>>740313779Cinematic platformfags are mentally ill. The games are only slightly better than snoystation moviegames.
>>740311080Heart Of Darkness, Abe’s odysse, another world, bramble, ico,
>>740311080It began and ended with Limbo.Little Nightmares 1 was okay.
>>740311080Reanimal is alright, but short and not worth $40, make sure you play with a friend coop to enjoy it more
>>740313779The games in the OP are very ehhhh though...
