the way sf6 music selection works is weird, you have to create a playlist for each individual character. thankfully this game has every previous games OST (in the shop) so its fun curating playlists that match the vibe you want on each character. I'm playing SF6, it's my first fighting game. Got to diamond in 10 hours with Modern controls, now I'm learning Classic and still in Silver.So a newbie question but how do I train meaties? I can throw loop just fine, but if I try to strike instead of throwing people can always strike me first or even throw me first. It seems like I am messing up the timing really badly but I have no idea if I'm striking too early or too late. How can I train for this?Also is there any "trick" to getting this down to muscle memory? Some sort of reference I can use? Or is it just gut feeling?

I could probably find out by looking at a replay but that's a lot of effort.A medium punch is pretty much automatic and has way better damage except it is just ONE frame too late, so people spamming jabs can strike me first. They rarely spam jabs in silver, so I could get away with doing it for some time, but I don't want to train that bad habitWell thanks anon I'll test other moves and see if there's anything that automatizes the timing
