Even if he WAS the one to kill Yamano, there is nothing linking either him or her to any of the subsequent victims. Furthermore, the fact that the first two victims were linked to the Midnight Channel was pure coincidence; the Midnight Channel had nothing to do with why Adachi pushed them into the TV World.So basically, everyone was above suspicion.
