Out of most remakes coming out this one is one of the most faithful. It blurs the line between remaster and remake. It doesn't just capture the core concept of the original game, in many aspects it's mechanically equal with a few additions.

Early chapters are really fun when you're scoping out the camps deciding who to join and then moving through the ranks but the later chapters have a ridiculous amount of walking. It's really souring the experience especially since I've just gotten through the free mine only to get sent back up to pick up a bunch of shit.
