I replayed the end of Chapter 3 and then 4 again. The knight took me 2 tries but Gerson took 3. I don't know what possibly possessed me to let the former happen. But now I have both eggs, both crystals, and the Spider Armor. Only thing I missed was the initial Tenna scene(s) in the Dark World, gave him away before I went into Castle Town.

Being able to consistently use Rude Buster outweighs the damage Kris and Ralsei do with their attacks (especially Kris, since the little shit is sandbagging against the knight), so have them defend to farm TP. As the others said, Shadow Mantle should probably be on Susie. The Mantle allows the wearer to survive one extra hit from the Knight's final fullscreen attack, which is why you see so many screenshots of Susie being the last one standing with 1HP
