>>741828046well the USB over Ethernet is a lot cheaper than running the fiber. the hubs are 50 bucks or so and you just need to run ethernet from one hub to the other. I can't feel any latency at all but I haven't tested any fighting games or anything, though I would just play them at my desk anyways.
