somehow last night I fucked up my mods for this game. I had the QoL mod and MP mod working then I installed the Hug + skins mods (thanks to anon from the last thread) and booted the game upp and everything was working fine.I fiddled around with the settings in a sandbox for a bit, then I clicked an option in the mod options. I can't recall exactly but I think I disabled the MP mod by unchecking it and then clicked "restart and apply changes" and when I rebooted the game, none of the mods were loaded anymoreI went as far as uninstalling and completely cleaning out the steam folder and the folder that contains save data -_> reinstalling the game --> reinstalling my mods, but now only the MP mod is functionalwtf did I do?

I experimented with enabling/disabling the pixelization filter to see if it effected webm quality and I'm not sure what difference it made, if any.I assume the filter enabled would improve webm quality because if the screen is stationary then there's little to no pixel changes at all, which should improve the bitrate and quality.I also turned off the static effect which should improve bitrates.

Backpack emergency milkys are awesome because they let you multitask and kill two birds with one stone. We tried PVP and PVP Teams for the first time last night and it worked perfectly. Jetpack Makeshift Rifle Deathmatch.I think the makeshift rifle is the most fun gun to PVP with. The TTK is much slower, which means you get to spend more time dueling and trading shots. The slow rate of fire encourages you to better aim your shots, and only getting one shot lets you see exactly where your shot lands, making hits really satisfying. And as a certain Revolver Ocelot once said, there's nothing like the feeling of slamming a long silver bullet into a well greased chamber. The manually operated nature of the bolt-action makes combat more mechanically interesting. PVPing with the makeshift rifle is fun.Case in point, I land 2 headshots in this clip with the makeshift rifle and fuck they were so satisfying. It may sound like a good idea but it's a problem when your backpack milky has his shooting arm blown off and drops his rifle. I was too focused on flying and shooting to realize I could have swooped down and let him pick his rifle back up to keep shooting with his other arm.It's also of dubious tactical value because the way bullets work in this game if a shot hits you it's going straight through you and will hit your backpack milky too, letting your enemies score two hits with one shot. It looks like they hit me on my screen, but maybe they missed on their screens? Maybe playing for so long in the same session introduced some latency or something? >>742121079if you're quick on your paws and just a tad lucky you can still absolutely get down to the bottom without dying. a pistol isn't going to kill or even fend off a salad with just 1 spare mag, but it should be more than enough to beat back the more regular sized fauna. there's an alright amount of food in the jungle lying around, with the return of geotrees and popfruits in moderation. oh, and if you can dig into one of the bigger setpiece trees you can eat or bottle up as much tree sap as you want, that's an incredible food source if you dont eat too much too quickly and get sick. a lot of the ground in the jungle can be easily dug with just claws, and there are lots of openish areas. just stay calm and have some kind of escape plan for when/if a salad shows up.
