In a vacuum, I think the chapter is good and a lot of fun, but even then it feels a bit like fan content in how much time it spends on the 7 human stand-ins and the fanservice surrounding them. What little Undertale said about the previous humans was plenty when combined with the very effective environmental storytelling. As the 5th chapter of Deltarune, it's a very awkward narrative speedbump. It's abrupt and doesn't feel like it flows with the characterization and progression of the previous chapter in the slightest.

Paralleling Chapter 1, Susie helps the Flowers much like she helped Lancer, becoming more of an obstacle but in the inverse, because she is genuinely trying to do good. The chapter then plays out as usual, the Flowers accept their fate and they convince Susie that it's alright. As the fountain closes, the Knight steals Asgore and Flowery is killed. Susie blames herself, telling Ralsei he was right and she should have just listened, while Ralsei insists she was right (because he secretly hopes she truly has the power to defy the prophecy). Susie feels powerless as she messed everything up days ago by trying to be the bad guy and now she messed up again trying to play the hero. She knows they have to take this "heroes of the prophecy" job seriously, it's not just a game and fun adventures, so Noelle needs to help, too.
