I give it a 6/10, decent but not exceptional, though I'd be happy if the trial is good and improves that opinion.

Actually they gave Wuk Lamat the most lines in the game and named her Seventh Dawn because she was never meant to be important.

But it's very clear with the inordinate focus on Wuk (3rd most dialogue in game), the mentorship, the name being seventh dawn or venus/venat related in Mayan, the Dawn Servant Throne convieniently being held by a two headed king with a near perfect symmetry of vow of reason and Koana and vow of Resolve Wuk, that Wuk was being set up by someone with an intention of a Graha T'ia repeat.It's all moo though because it's in the rearview mirror short of some hilarious reveal this July. It'll only come up when silly apologists for DT start claiming "DT crawled so EC could walk" and claiming every success of EC when at best it's just going to need the sippy cup. I got filtered around that point in the story in the very beginning where you help a chocobo breeder get an egg back, and then he gives you a useless reward instead of a mount, and then the game made you run back and forth across the map a dozen fucking times, AND THEN it takes you to the desert to watch a bunch of shitty stilted cutscenes before giving you the chocobo mount. Like holy shit, you couldn't have given this to me before having me run around this big empty map a dozen times back to back to back when I was chatting with that chocobo breeder earlier? That kind of thing just made me realize I couldn't be playing an MMO if I was going to get tilted at every time they started padding shit out for the pure hell of it.
