Like I think it's absurd to believe we're going to have the same concept of "transness" in 100, even 50 years that we do now. You could never imagine a character in Lord of the Rings saying "I am transgender!" or coming out as trans and not because it's conservative but because queerness is in flux and you're more likely to instead find a suggestion of like, an elf that used magic to appear the other sex.
