I'm not super convinced about this whole "Dess had angst about generally Sucking At Things" theory because frankly it just sounds more like she was too busy getting her cervix shattered by her boss monster boyfriend to give much of a fuck.Also, she literally did make music! You can say Raise Up Your Bat isn't a masterwork composition, and sure, but she was literally like 14-16 emulating pop punk or emo bands while her main band mate was her zesty choir boy boyfriend. I think she did ok working with what she had.
