Also, he initially welcomed the Tarnished to the real Roundtable Hold at Leyndell, but Vyke picking the Frenzied Flame and Bernahl's Finger Maiden burning the Erdtree (thus revealing what a major part of the Tarnished and Finger Maidens' missions entail) made him think the Tarnished are deranged and mere symptoms of the world's ruin, not saviors.
