Looks like a GTA VI port isn't impossible after all.

All three games for I assume the price of one? Doesn't sound too bad.

Yeah I'm sure Nintendo told the devs to put it up as a GKC right?

Switch 2 fans are embarassing. You are not getting the best game ever ported to your phisher price tablet

Watchdogs 2 is a PS4 game and Switch 2 can handle PS4 games. What does that have to do with GTA 6?

at this point I’ve just given up. I’ll take what I can get physicallly. memory/cartridges are just exppensive and they’re not gonna make them 100 bucks to accommodate full games. so fuck it. I don’t believe those servers will shut down in 20 years and by then I’ll be dead so whatever.

>>743424705
Are you implying that GTA 6 has better graphics than recent Watch Dogs games? Judging from the lastest trailer, I highly doubt it.

Considering you can still download stuff you bought digitally on Wii 7 years after the store shut down and 20 years after the system launched, I'm pretty sure your GKC will be working just fine in 2050.

>>743425396
They have download servers in multiple locations. Plus if there's an event where something like that happens, there's probably bigger issues going on than vidya gaems.

GKC don't even connect to the eShop, they bypass that entirely and go straight to getting the game data from the nearest server.
>>
Watch Dogs 1 is awesome. No other game like it. Has aged incredibly well.

>>
>>743425745
RDR2 renders a sparse open frontier, fewer NPCs, less traffic, and more focus on animation and lighting detail. Watch Dogs has to simulate a dense, living city with tons of NPCs, vehicles and systems running all at once. That's just a harder technical challenge in a completely different direction.

Also RDR2 is also on PS4. So who's the real retard now?

We don't care about your digital copy PCvegan
>>
>>743424170
I did too. Unfortunately the Wii U version of Watch Dogs suffers from a serious bug that causes the player's stats to reset to their base value. I contacted Ubisoft about that a long time ago, but they said they weren't going to fix it, and I'm assuming that issue still exists to this day
>>
>>743423969
Watch Doge is a PS3 game.
>>
>>743426439
I have more control over those digital copies and they play better. Enjoy spending way more for a GKC on Nintendo's tiny storage that plays worse and that Nintendo will inevitably shut down.

>>
>>743424714
And some faggots in this thread have the nerve to shift the blame to the third parties. While Nintendo are the ones that gave them the opportunity to kill physical media. Not to mention using it themselves with certain games like that pokemon animal crossing game.

>>

Anon, I'm going to whisper this ever so slightly into your ear so you can understands whats going on:

>>
>>743427470
Funny thing is it really is peak. Games have gotten objectively worse as a whole in the last ten years
>>
>>743427705
Eh, GTA5 feels like a ps3 game with shit tacked on to beef it up. Watch Dogs just feels like a tech demo for an idea that could be done much better by somebody else
>>
>>743427323
And how much of a difference does 3 dollars per card makes if you produce 1 million cards, genius?
>>
>>743427858
literally yes, the cart is 99% identical, and 64GB of storage costs $5 when you buy in bulk
>>
>>743427945
and how much do you lose when millions of player refuse to buy your shitty GKC, genius?
>>
>>743427889

>>
>>743427323

>>
>>743427341

>>
>>743426083
Because actual real time shit on the gamepad was resource intensive on the already very weak console.

>>
>>743427839
I didn't give my opinion.
>>
>>743428004
Yeah I'm sure MILLIONS are totally refusing to buy a game because of game key cards, that's why all the big publishers keep using them.
>>
I went to play Black Flag on my PS5 and I had to download the entire game before I could play it. So clearly this isn't exclusively a Nintendo issue.
Blu-ray discs and even carts cannot keep up with demanding write speeds. >!They could make games that don't need those demanding speeds but hey, that's on them!<
>>
>>743427323
Something people don't understand is that many modern games are made to run off SSDs and the Switch 2 cartridges, while ostensibly being mini SSDs, are too slow to have those game run off of because they're slower than the internal storage.

There are some cases where the GKC is completely valid because that's the only way the game runs properly. That's for anything current gen only that doesn't have a PS4 release, anything with a PS4 or Switch 1 release being on GKC is obviously due to greed. (Square's greed with the Switch 2 recently is legendary. GKC only, no upgrade paths from Switch 1 versions, save data between the versions are incompatible, games are rereleased for full price).
>>
>>743425201
If the game utilises data streaming like Star Wars Outlaws does, the physical media is too slow to run the game correctly.

Game cards unfortunately operate on microSD tier speeds, unlike the microSD express cards or internal NAND that have much faster read speeds.
>>
>>743428236
Nigga if you put a bluray disc you didnt download the game, you installed the game from the disc.
>>
>>743424935
I think you'd do better from a more prudish angle. Say that you aren't forced to do niggershit or something about how there's no ass shaking.
>>
>>743423969

op is retard or retard
>>
>>743428281
you would think but sometimes the bluray has jack shit and you still download 99% of the game
>>
>>743423969
I understand why it flopped and died but it was a neat little series to play through desu
The first one really hit the hackerman vigilante fantasy just right and Aiden is my kind of sperg

Second one had a really weak cast but San Francisco was really engrossing and the gameplay was pretty satisfying, fun content all around but the MSQ was weak and not being able to kill people led to some frustrating gameplay moments

Then Legion is such a fucking mess but the gimmick of being any NPC is so unique and funny that it carries it to the end
also helps that London is charmful even if they have a little too many NPCs with Jamaican accents for some weird reason

You can download the demo for free from their site. https://factorio.com/download
It includes the tutorial, so its always where I point my friends to before we start a multiplayer play through.
The devs said that they don't like the FOMO exploitative nature of flash sales, so they permanently set the price to $35. The price will only increase with inflation. If you don't like the price, just pirate it. There's also no DRM.
>>
>>743430553
Key cards are better for the customer than download codes because they're transferable. You can resell you key card games or loan them to friends. Its actual ownership.

I liked Watch Dogs, I consider Watch Dogs 2 a "guilty pleasure", but Watch Dogs Legion looked like dog shit back when they were teasing it, and it still doesn't interest me too much. They should have kept it in America. They could have done a Pacific North West city, or even somewhere like Dallas in the South for a third. It really feels like they jumped the gun - the appeal of the setting in the prior games was that it was like the times we were living in at that moment but just a very little bit more advanced. Flying hoverbike police and whatever other dumb shit they put in felt like they had boiled the frog too quick. I tried buying Watch Dogs 2 when it was on sale for a few bucks a year ago on Steam but I couldn't get through the ubisoft launcher, so I refunded it. Morons.

>>743436239
You still own the key card though. They can never take that away from you. The key card will certainly diminish in value, but it will still be a collector's item.
>Ownership is being able to play your games even if society collapses tomorrow
All these concepts about "copyright" and "piracy" are artificial constraints made by laws that were passed in order to provide economic incentives to creators. If society collapsed, then these artificial constraints on the concept of ownership will also disappear. At that point, ownership will be defined purely by how effective you are in defending your resources from people trying to take them from you. AKA how much firepower do you have compared to your neighbor.
