Likewise I had avoid dying or using the main menu respawn option just to teleport somewhere faster because as of this playthrough I haven't die and I plan to see how long I can keep it going even if it means walking back to teleport points instead of clicking a button in the menu. I feel Palworld is in the same tier of Rimworld in terms of games. Settings and options/mods depends on what the player want out of it. Default exp rate is stupid but beside for that I feel going custom have the same merits as playing on default as long you limit yourself. I been temped to do a CBT playthrough where I intentionally make all of the world settings the literal worst aside from permadeath. I just haven't decided if x3 pals for mat farming vs the extra threat is better than keeping it at x1 pals where they be rarer but also safer to deal with.

This is by far the largest limitation of the build system right now. Stairs and platforms take up far too much space. We need thin platforms or at the very least different stairs that have a "walk off" platform at the top so to save on some build space. Whelp, I tried to get wanted and drag the attack helicopter to an oil rig to see if I could make the PDF and Syndicate fight each other and in the process, got a permanent wanted level. Needless to say, the syndicate did not care about getting bombed by the helicopter so I didn't bother with activating their helicopter for some heli vs heli action. Then I just went into a tower boss and it cleared the wanted level since it wasn't going down on its own.

>>743721594I watch an intro video showing an example of gameplay and the game is weirdly interesting as your defense is basically your deck of cards itself, you can easily lose a good pal by defending from an attack. Some pals can outright ignore the damage that would had been dealt so it is a balancing act of having those and normal good attacking pals. Best way I would explain it is instead of Pokemon's prize cards when you win a battle you instead make the opponent forcefully discard their own deck doubling down on their punishment.

Feel like oil rigs don't give enough oil. Am I missing something or do they just suck? Is there something harvestable that I am missing? I know you can hack to destroy the turrets, enemies drop oil, chests give loot and there is one big chest that give some oil but to me that isn't worth the time investment. The lv55 kinda kicked my ass though I am away above it level and can handle feybreak content without issues.
