In Rebirth you have shinra involvement, the big ass scale of the place, the fights, Cloud going insane.The only thing i didnt like was the mural + exposition of the cetras in rebirth. In the original it was a mural that the only thing the party was able to say was "oh, meteor" so it was really easy to improve it, they could have got cutscenes or optional mural reading where the party deciphers the murals meaning. The overexposition was too on the nose.
