Make sure to get your cube expansions when you can. You get 9 slots for 1k from the starter town and then in Hall of Prosperity in Sanctum you can get more but it gets expensive. There's also warehouse dude in there so you can store some crap.

General store sells [Extraction Tools] which can be used on green rarity items to get upgrade stones. Or maybe they can be used on white rarity as well I haven't tried that. Upgrading success chance has something to do with the item level and the stone level. If upgrade fails the item loses one upgrade level.

Also buy a bunch of bandages and use them.

Well turns out bow gameplay is absolute ass. Not only does casting a bow skill NOT start the autoshot but it also randomly stops if you're trying to kite. There's no deadzone but it feels like I'm supposed to use weapon swap to use my melee skills. Had I known I would have gone assassin or some other class entirely.

If the autoshot didn't cancel and started when I used a skill then it would be fine. Both of those together are bit of a deal breaker. I can use C to start the autoshot instead of right clicking the enemy but there's some stupid ass interaction there where it won't start the autoshot if it overlaps with a skill which makes it even more jank. There's a macro system which I'm trying to figure out to see if it helps.

It has time limited flying and a couple gimmick quests that require it. That's about it. Otherwise it's got basically nothing going for it. From what I can tell there's no character building whatsoever. Equipment is the only way you can change how your character performs and the level 9 second class choice is the only choice you make.

I suppose when it came out the combo skill chains were somewhat novel but it wasn't the first game to do it. Visually it's higher def than Lineage 2 but in my opinion looks strictly worse and it's from that era of bloom where they made some pretty hideous graphical choices. Overall I'd say it's a worse L2 that tried its hand at some WoW style questing and QoL but it fails at those. It even copies the worst mechanic from L2; you get these stacks of crystals and you can activate them so that your every attack and skill consumes one crystal to deal more damage.
