When I was a kid we would have one evening per year where the parents would go into school to talk to the teacher about our performance.
>>745958779If you failed a class, it was a big fucking deal. You had to either retake it over summer or if you failed multiple, you had to do the whole year over again. At least until No Child Left Behind screwed everything up. We also had parent teacher meetings I think twice per year.
>>745958779It certainly matter a lot less these days since millenial and zoomer parents don't give as much of a shit alongside the fact that the quality/level of edjucation has been dumbed down significantly over the years. However, it largely depends on whether or not the parents fell for the 'you need good grades so you can go to a good college so you can get a 300k starting job' scam.
