Is it better to play Metal Gears in release order or chronological?
Release order because going from MGSV to MG1 would be extremely jarring

Now that MGS 4 and Peacewalker are finally coming to PC I can try this shit out for the first time. The only games I've played are sons of biberty and Revengence Rising. Hoping they sdidn't add shit to the games that would make them chronologically retarded
Why the fuck does this stupid question even exist and continue to exist? The answer is always release order. Prequels are made with the assumption that a lot of the audience knows what happens afterwards and are therefore filled with references and foreshadowing you'll miss otherwise.
