Make New IPs
Development hell because people finally realized system shock is overrated and spawned shit series like bioshock.
In SS3 I want to play as the Shodan woman from SS2 ending, no idea about the villain
>>746016475It was cancelled, and good riddance. The setting would not have made any sense, and the redesigns looked like ass.
>>746017056Did they add controller support and UI scaling yet?>>746017373If they do this you can't romance her.
>>746019743>Did they add controller support and UI scaling yet?Nigga why the FUCK would you WANT to play a PC RPG-FPS on a gamepad??But yes, the game has already been released on consoles as well.

I've heard Twisted Tower is supposed to be a system shock(more accurately a bioshock) clone, is it any gud?

>>746016475The trailer looked fucking amazing. Instead we got that garbage ass remake.
>>746022374You got that backwards. Not a single SS fan approved that mess back in the day.The remake was actually WAY better than it had any right of being, and it got polished a great deal earlier this year with the latest patch.
>>746022851If this doesn't look incredible to you, you're out of your mind.https://youtu.be/Ui4tOnQRDPM?si=Fkvbi0iPDtlsfAGi

>>746016475Nightdive, who owns the IP, sold the development rights to the third game to Otherside Entertainment (a comapny co-founded by Warren Spector.) Nightdive wasn't funding development, so Otherside found a publisher in Starbreeze which is when the trailer was released. Starbreeze left publishing for multiple reasons around this time, so they were left without a publisher wiling to pick it up. Otherside decided the best course of action was to get into a really, really bad contract with Tencent that gave Tencent the development rights instead with the hope that they'd just hire Otherside to finish it. They didn't. Now Tencent holds those rights without any intent on using them.Otherside Entertainment went on to make Thick as Thieves which came out earlier this year. It was fine, but unfinished and obviously had a rough development (it was announced as an extraction shooter, released as a two player co-op campaign) and was sold for only $5. Otherside Entertainment just shut down last month.
