I'd also say Phantom Liberty is an improvement over base game where your choices actually do matter more (keyword: more; they still mattered in base game, but to a lesser extent). But playing 2077 has actually gotten my brother and me interested in playing the TTRPG, it's a pretty cool setting.

It takes a while to get used to tank controls, more so since it's not ranged like RE, but once you master the lock on, your character is actually pretty mobile. Resources are limited so it keeps that Survival Horror touch making combat always feel tense. An issed failed or the wrong enemy gaining the green orb can result in a rough spot. Both the Dark Realm and the Ogre Tower, forcing you to master the combat and use everything, was my favorite part. Pretty short too, can be beaten in a weekend, keeping that "do better each time" from the RE games. Recommended.
