They take cash or gold now they will just take cash and there's nothing Blizzard can do about it. I was interested in finding out about it since I used to only play private servers and it turns out boosting absolutely maxxed to the extreme. Imagine this: you're new to the game, you grind 10 levels out because that's all you had to level since you used your boost with buying the game, you're a fresh max lvl character with no gear and quest items as equipment, you buy a wow token and get boosted in every single heroic raid and get to roll on loot and also complete all quests inside the raids, and you get out with enough gearscore to do raids yourself afterward. There is no gear progression any more, you have maybe 3 or 4 pieces to swap out or upgrade, and you just hit max level on the same day. It's like, bruh. Leveling boosts, achievement boosts, mount boosts, they sell it all, mark my words anon there is absolutely nothing blizzard can do about it. I stopped playing wow afterward, even private servers, it's just so tiresome levelling up all the time. I don't want to do deadmines again. I don't want to raid BWL for the 900th time, I'm not levelling professions again. At some point enough is enough.

It flat out doesn't work for PUG raids, randos, or groups with constant churn. There's no changes you can make to wow to fix the fundamental issue that once you hit 60 and get decent gear there's fucking nothing to do. The only options are to pull a retail and stuff the game with 10000000 cosmetics to grind, or do a RuneScape and make the gear grind itself take so long that it's functional impossible for the gamerdads.I have zero faith that blizzard somehow found a super secrit third option. This is just going to be another attempt to further milk the sad classic players desperate to relive the one brief happy memory that had in their lives.
