I'm a complete decomp/recomp noob so I'm wondering if it possible and how would one go about doing that?
>>748898854Sadly not, the game logic was stored on the servers.
>>748899002damn, that's a shameand there's no way to access that data? because how is it possible for some games to have private servers even after shutting down like pic related?
>>748899461He's bullshitting, game logic is stored client-side just like most other online games. Servers are just used for verification checks and account info. But unfortunately I also don't have much info on how to use AI to decompile games
>>748898854Not unless you have server data.>>748899002It's not. Passing all game logic through a server is way too intensive for basic bitch gacha games, only games like LoL and CS do it to prevent cheating. The only fully server-side part is always gacha-related, because that's the one part where they REALLY don't want you to cheat. But it's not like that matters, because these games still need a server to call back constantly, so you need to reverse-engineer the server. A few enthusiasts actually managed to do that, like with Nier Reincarnation.
>>748899664I see, so decompiling gachas is possible if someone stored the server data somewhereso assuming I got that, what's the next step? same as all other games?
>>748900935If you can build your own server, you don't even need to decompile shit, just connect the game to your server and play on an Android emulator.
>>748898854i know people hate AI (me too) but its genuinely great for learning shit like thisjust try asking it how to do it, unironically. most of these gacha games are on unity so its very likely a matter of using ilspy and then figuring out how to make the code compatible with PC unity
>>748901212I get you but with decompiling there is so much room for improvement with mods, these games are desperate for better control, graphics, removing gacha bs adding QoL..
