Tripo is ass at topology. It might look good at first but once you actually work with it you realize that it's not subdiv friendly and gives you edge spirals no matter how much you retopo. Results are also muddy and have a bad time with hard surfaces. Shading is ass, glass is impossible and uv maps are from hell.
It's 3d scanning all over again but worse, because realistic items are always wonky, have odd details and are available for dirt cheap on online stores anyways. And the stylistic ones become generic very fast, its faster and cheaper to let an external modeler make it
