Been looking to get a budget controller for PC gaming and have landed on either the 8bitdo Ultimate 2C or the Gamesir Nova 2 Lite.

Any /v/irgins know which is better?
>>
Gamesir is better than 8bitdo, but just take the plunge and get a steam controller
>>
>>749019956
Isn't that unobtainium?
>>

I myself chose between 8bitdo Ultimate 2C and the Gamesir Supernova. Ended up getting the Supernova because I found a really good deal on a lightly used one. It's been absolutely perfect for the 6 months I've had it so far. The dock is great and being able to switch the buttons around easily for Nintendo layouts is great. I honestly cannot think of a single flaw.

Steam controller is 10x the price, dawg
>>
>>749020014
I have one, therefore it's not unobtainable

>>749020079
It will save you money in the long run

What is the third party controller that feels the most like a 360 controller, particularly the 360 slim version? That's literally my only requirement and I'm torn between that or just getting a wireless adapter for my original controller
>>
>>749019912
The Nova Lite 2 is a about as good as I can imagine a controller being and the d-pad is perfect in particular
>>749019956
Eww
>>
>>749020257
I can't imagine being the sort of sick freak who wants something like the 360 controller but I guess the Nova Lite 2 is like if that had better ergonomics, hall effect and a d-pad that isn't complete AIDS
I don't know though, i don't know really what you want if the 360 pad is your benchmark
>>
I was just looking at getting a new wireless controller, are there any good ones? I wanna stream my PC to a TV so I'd want one with a USB dongle or whatever and good latency.
I'm mentally fucking poisoned from this website and saw Gamesaar and 8bitdildo, just fucking kill me now it's over

Don't fall for the meme of having one ultimate controller.
Get one that's alright for most jobs and then specialized ones for certain other jobs.
>>
>>749021341
People are talking about them because they're the best makes of controller going. What else are they going to talk about?
>>
>>749019912
Ultimate 2C is alright and does the job for most games.
Do not get it if you intend to play fighting games, though. The d-pad is ass for it.
>>
>>749021797
Are they good wireless options then? I think I saw a review for one saying they have trouble using it on steam because some games don't pick it up.
Right now I'm just using a PS4 controller with a cable but like I said I wanna try to stream to my TV so I'd want a wireless option.
>>
the gamesir one that looks like a PS4 controller is 20 bucks
>>
SC is the best controller on the market despite the issues.

Controller sage here. Right now the best bangs for the fuck are leadjoy controllers for wireless. They have both symmetrical and asymmetrical sticks layout.
As for wired it's the Gamesir Tegenaria.
>>
>>749020412
The bone and series sex controllers were a downgrade from the 360 in terms of ergonomics, smaller and lighter weight, could never get used to them
>>
>>749019912
Outside of xbox controllers I've only bought an 8bitdo after being recommended it and it's great
>>
I wish i could afford hypnotherapy so i could enjoy asymmetrical joystick controllers

I own the ultimate 2 wireless that the 2C is based on, and the shape took a lot of getting used to. You can see in that Pic, the handles are more narrow than your average xbox controller, and that will be an issue if you have big hands. I'm 6' foot even but I have small manlet hands with short fingers and I still find a regular Xbox controller more comfortable if I'm being honest. The 8bitdo ultimate 3 controllers supposedly have a more standard Xbox shape, so I'd wait for the 3c or snag a cyclone 2, they can get pretty cheap.

original Xbox 360 controller > all controllers in existence for pc gayming
>>
>>749028092
Bot reply. The 360 controller in objectively inferior to the Series X controller in almost ever way.
>>
Bad dpads are feature, not a bug.
>>
Both of them are shit. Especially 8shitdo. Holy fuck that was awful. The second I held a controller that wasn't some "budget" shit it was like night and day.
You only go for "budget" shit when you're a poorfag and don't want to actually use anything good.

I got a bunch of Gamesir Supernovas. Best Buy has had them on sale for $30 for awhile now. Excellent value at that price. I like them. They're comfortable, easy to swap buttons and I like that they light up. I couldn't tell you how responsive or sensitive they are comparatively.
>>
8bitdo is pure chinesium all across their product stack.
>>
>>749028362
Yeah, that's what I call someone who spams ads for 8shitdo.
Truthnuke for anyone clueless: the Dpad isn't supposed to be such a mushy piece of shit and the bumpers aren't supposed to be so loud and feel this cheap.
The biggest praise I can give 8shitdo is that it didn't break when I dropped it by accident.

my 8bitdoodoo blows my dualsense and gamesaar out of the water

pro 4 better make the button input silent thicker shoulder buttons and better dpad and it will be SSS tier and i will buy it
>>
>>749019956
The steam controller is only worth it when you really want to use the touchpads otherwise gamesir or 8bitdo are much better value.
>>
8shitdo will never be a real controller lmao
Have fun seeing them continue to use the same absolutely dogshit dpad when everyone who knows anything switched to proper 8-directional dpad years ago
>>
>>749019912
I have owned both controllers (I had the gamesir nova lite 1 though). They are both probably the best in the budget controller range. I think the 8bitdo is a little better because it had a lot less trouble with the wireless connection. I had to re-pair the gamesir wireless dongle many times and put it in differnt modes to get it to pair. The 8bitdo wireless just works every time
