So about Anon goes on /v/, I've had this idea for this song since last year, especially because it gave me an excuse to create this animatic. I was really stressed out making this because I wanted to deliver it as early as possible and thought I wouldn't be able to deliver it on time. I even had to skip sleep to make thisWhat surprised me most I somehow created 2 new characters in process. Initially at the line "Jannies and mods on duty" I wanted to draw the design of Mod-tan but I couldn't find any reference pictures of her anymore, so I thought 'fuck, well guess I have to design one my own then' and that's how that little dog came to be, her design is both inspired by the ASCII mascots and also the Janny. Apparently the Captcha had a design as well (which I didn't know about) and ended up drawing this robot cat. I have thought about it redesigning it to a turtle, but I'm not sure yet.Funny trivia: When I did Janny's voice my dog got so scared she headed to the exit door of my apartment. I looked it up pretty much immediately after it got identified on my phone and I was surprised to see it was so old but I got hooked and listened on repeat while eventually singing it all out loud tons and tons of times. Come musical time, I was wondering if it had been done before despite it's age but it wasn't and I started thinking of ideas for it. Someone hearing dirty imbecile just connected with tilde console in my brain and I tried to fill in the rest with words. As I was doing that, the chorus actually was coming together and the way my lyrics fit the originals such as "be cute be dumb be shy"/"git gud, walkthroughs and guides" among other examples was working brilliantly. So then I just fixed up the rest of the song while adding in my experiences with using console cheats from my childhood and even to this day (noclipping will never get old) and finished writing the rest of the song. Thanks to the singer who picked it up and rolled with it, it came out really fun and I hope others enjoy that little piece of nostalgia with some of those referenced cheat commands too."
