ok I played for 100 minutes (20 minutes of that was compiling shaders), I'm very borderline on refunding right nowprobably about 25% of the time I played I couldn't even control my character. it feels like you do 2-3 fights then you have to sit through a 10-30 second cutscene. it takes like 30 minutes before you even start the game to get through all the cutscenes and stupid tutorialcombat is kind of what I feared, it feels pretty button mashy. regular enemies you just plow through without much thought, bosses you barely get to attack unless they're staggered. it seems like most of the game is just parrying to get things to stagger state and attacking itself is not super important. the axe boss was kind of fun regardless. the entire rest of the game has not been so far. exploration and stuff is awful, worse than wukong.

Just beat the first two phase boss, he would actually be pretty hard if you had to do both phases in one try. So far the regular enemies have the complete opposite problem of the ones in Onimusha.
