My take on Sky 1st flopping in Japan: no fanservice DLC campaign pre-release. Until now Falcom always did it and the games with the best campaigns sold best in Japan. Imagine you could get some micro bikini Tita DLC. There would be a ton of fans who would buy the game just for that. Anyway: with a fanservice DLC campaign they could have pushed it to 55k or 60k easily. But instead they made it as unattractive a game for Japs as possible. Safe and boring DLC with censorship spats.
