I recently saw this comment in a thread but unfortunately it was archived and I couldn't correct it, but I want to point out that Rin doesn't have 40 magic circuits, she has the same amount as Luvia, that is "70 main circuits and 40 secondary circuits" giving a total of 100, even the El Melloi novels themselves confirm this number for both. It's also worth mentioning that the number of circuits is not the only important thing but also their quality, each of Rin's circuits are more efficient than several of an average magician.
