I don't have any particular stakes in whether or not Daima was financially sucessful or not but I really didn't care too much for Daima. I always thought the adventure parts of dragonball were overstated as a major part of the series as opposed to the fights and I suppose i'm just too old for "the cast is kids now" to appeal to me. I did like the fight coreography, though. I feel like it's a bit of a trend for modern animation to go "good fight animation is when fast and fluid" as opposed to good coreography, so being able to actually read how the fight flows was nice
I was introduced to DB through GT subs so Goku being a kid again for Daima never bothered me.
