One thing I think doesn't get appreciated enough regarding Warframe's art design is the avoidance of greebles. It's become an issue that some modern frame designs have been called overdesigned, but in comparison to some shit I've seen even the most overdesigned frame is still relatively immaculate in comparison. To some extent, I am forced to say that an overreliance on greebles to evoke technological complexity amounts to having books on the shelf you'll never read. It's an illusion of complexity based on a preconception when your model actually amounts to a crude piece of macaroni art.
